Assistance payments definition

Assistance payments means financial assistance (other than medical assistance covered by the "Colorado Medical Assistance Act") provided pursuant to rules and regulations adopted by the state department and includes pensions, grants, and other money payments to or on behalf of recipients.
Assistance payments means any amount, other than a refund of Contributions, paid out of the Plan to or for the Plan Beneficiary to assist the Plan Beneficiary to further his or her education in a Qualifying Educational Program at a Designated Educational Institution or if the Plan Beneficiary is at least 16 years of age and enrolled in a Specified Educational Program at a Post-Secondary Educational Institution.
Assistance payments means aid to an eligible individual, who is eligible within statutory provisions, in the form of money payments for the purpose of meeting day-to-day ongoing living costs.
