AUDIT AND ACCESS. 16.1. The Recipient agrees to give the Commonwealth, or any persons authorised in writing by the Commonwealth (including the Auditor-General and the Privacy Commissioner), access to premises where the Activity is being performed and to permit those persons to inspect and take copies of any material relevant to the Activity.

AUDIT AND ACCESS. 34.1 Right to conduct audits The Commonwealth through ACIAR or a representative may conduct audits relevant to the performance of the Commissioned Agent’s obligations under the SRA Agreement. Audits may be conducted of:
(a) the Commissioned Agent’s operational practices and procedures as they relate to the SRA Agreement, including security procedures;
(b) the Commissioned Agent’s compliance with its confidentiality, privacy and security obligations under this Agreement;
(c) Material (including books and records) in the possession of the Commissioned Agent relevant to the Services or this Agreement; and
(d) any other matters determined by the Commonwealth to be relevant to the Services or the SRA Agreement.
34.2 Access by the Commonwealth
(a) The Commonwealth through ACIAR or a representative may, at reasonable times and on giving reasonable notice to the Commissioned Agent:
(i) access the premises of the Commissioned Agent to the extent relevant to the performance of the SRA Agreement;
(ii) require the provision by the Commissioned Agent, its employees, agents or subcontractors, of records and information in a data format and storage medium accessible by the Commonwealth by use of the Commonwealth’s existing computer hardware and software;
(iii) inspect and copy documentation, books and records, however stored, in the custody or under the control of the Commissioned Agent, its employees, agents or subcontractors; and
(iv) require assistance in respect of any inquiry into or concerning the Services or the SRA Agreement. For these purposes an inquiry includes any administrative or statutory review, audit or inquiry (whether within or external to the Commonwealth), and any inquiry conducted by Parliament or any Parliamentary committee.
(b) The Commissioned Agent must provide access to its computer hardware and software to the extent necessary for the Commonwealth to exercise its rights under this clause 34, and provide the Commonwealth through ACIAR or its representative with any reasonable assistance requested by the Commonwealth to use that hardware and software.
34.3 Conduct of audit and access The Commonwealth through ACIAR or a representative must use reasonable endeavours to ensure that:
(a) audits performed under clause 34.1; and
(b) the exercise of the general rights granted by clause 34.2 by the Commonwealth, do not unreasonably delay or disrupt in any material respect the Commissioned Agent’s performance of its obligations under the SRA Agreement or...
AUDIT AND ACCESS. 21.3.1. The Recipient agrees:
a. to give the Commonwealth, or any persons authorised in writing by the Commonwealth, access to premises where obligations under this Agreement are being carried out; and
b. to permit those persons to inspect and take copies of any Material relevant to this Agreement.
21.3.2. The rights referred to in clause 21.3.1. are subject to:
a. the Commonwealth providing reasonable prior notice; and
b. the reasonable security procedures in place at the premises.
21.3.3. The Auditor-General and Information Officer (and their delegates) are persons authorised for the purposes of clause 21.3.1.
21.3.4. This clause 21.3 does not detract from the statutory powers of the Auditor- General or Information Officer.

13.2.1. The Service Provider agrees:
a. to give the Project Officer, or any persons authorised in writing by the Project Officer, access to premises where the Services are being performed and
b. to permit those persons to inspect and take copies of any Material relevant to the Services.
13.2.2. The rights referred to in clause 13.2.1. are subject to:
a. the High Court providing reasonable prior notice
b. the reasonable security procedures in place at the premises and
c. if appropriate, execution of a deed of confidentiality by the persons to whom access is given.
13.2.3. The Auditor-General and the Privacy Commissioner are persons authorised for the purposes of this clause 13.2.
13.2.4. This clause 13.2 does not detract from the statutory powers of the Auditor- General or the Privacy Commissioner. Note: for information about the Auditor-General Act 1997 (Cth) see the fact sheet referred to in Item 22 [Applicable Legislation].
AUDIT AND ACCESS. 33.8.1. The Contractor agrees:
a. to give the Principal‟s Representative, or any persons authorised in writing by the Principal‟s Representative, access to premises occupied by the Contractor; and
b. to permit those persons to inspect and take copies of any material relevant to the carrying out of the Works.
33.8.2. The rights referred to in this clause are subject to:
a. the Principal providing reasonable prior notice;
b. the Contractor‟s reasonable security procedures; and
c. if appropriate, execution of a deed of confidentiality relating to non- disclosure of the Contractor‟s Confidential Information.
33.8.3. Without in any way affecting the statutory powers of the Auditor-General under the Auditor-General Xxx 0000 (Cth), and subject to the provisions of that Act, the Auditor-General is a person authorised for the purposes of this clause.
