Authorised Driver means any driver of the Vehicle who is approved by Us and who is recorded on the Rental Agreement prior to the Start of the Rental. Damage means:
Authorised absence means that the school has either given approval in advance for a pupil of compulsory school age to be away from the school, or has accepted an explanation offered afterwards as justification for absence.
authorised entity means an entity that is authorised or recognised by a Member State to provide education, instructional training, adaptive reading or information access to beneficiary persons on a non-profit basis. It also includes a public institution or non-profit organisation that provides the same services to beneficiary persons as one of its primary activities, institutional obligations or as part of its public-interest missions.
authorised taxi rank means any area of carriageway which is comprised within and indicated by a road marking complying with diagram 1028.2 in Schedule 6 to the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2002;
authorised insurer means an insurer that holds an authorisation to carry on insurance business for the purposes of Directive 73/239/EEC or that is otherwise entitled to carry on non-life insurance business in the State;
authorised officer means any person authorised by the Environment Agency under section 108(1) of The Environment Act 1995 to exercise, in accordance with the terms of any such authorisation, any power specified in section 108(4) of that Act.
authorised person means the Client or any person (including any individual or entity) authorised by the Client to act on its behalf in the performance of any act, discretion or duty under this Agreement (including, for the avoidance of doubt, any officer or employee of such person) in a notice reasonably acceptable to the Custodian.
authorised agent means a passenger sales agent who has been appointed by us to represent us in the sale of air transportation on our services.
authorised party means the party referred to in Article XIII(3);
Authorised User means those employees, agents and independent contractors of the Customer who are authorised by the Customer to use the Services.
authorised bank means a bank or a branch of a bank authorised by the Central Government to collect the tax or any other amount payable under this Act;
Authorised Signatories means any two authorised officers of the Issuer signing jointly.
Obligors’ Agent means the Company, appointed to act on behalf of each Obligor in relation to the Finance Documents pursuant to Clause 2.4 (Obligors’ Agent).
authorised scheme means Work No. 1A described in paragraph 2 of Part 1 of this licence;
Authorised Users means those employees, agents and independent contractors of Customer or a Customer Affiliate who have been authorised by Customer to use the Products in accordance with these Terms.
Authorised Signatory means, in relation to any Obligor, any person who is duly authorised and in respect of whom the Administrative Agent has received a certificate signed by a director or another Authorised Signatory of such Obligor setting out the name and signature of such person and confirming such person’s authority to act.
Authorised Persons means collectively all Event management, Venue management, Police, public bodies and agencies responsible for safety and security in connection with the Event or the Venue, and their respective staff, officials, representatives, officers and volunteers;
authorised official means a person authorised to implement the provisions of this By-law, including but not limited to–
Tax Filing Authorised Person means such person as any Director shall designate from time to time, acting severally.
Authorised Representative means any natural or legal person established within the Union who has received a written mandate from a manufacturer to act on his behalf in relation to specified tasks;
Security Party means each Owner, the Approved Manager and any other person (except a Creditor Party) who, as a surety or mortgagor, as a party to any subordination or priorities arrangement, or in any similar capacity, executes a document falling within the final paragraph of the definition of “Finance Documents”;
Borrower DTTP Filing means an HM Revenue & Customs’ Form DTTP2, duly completed and filed by the relevant Borrower within the applicable time limit, which contains the scheme reference number and jurisdiction of tax residence provided by the Lender to the Borrower and the Administrative Agent.
Relevant Party means each Loan Party and Sponsor (and, collectively “Relevant Parties”).

Additional Authorised Participant means any Eligible Authorised Participant (other than the Initial Authorised Participant or the Second Authorised Participant) that has entered into an Authorised Participant Agreement with the Issuer and has acceded to the LS Operating Procedures Agreement.
Authorised Officers means an officer of each Partner appointed to be that Partner's representative for the purpose of this Agreement.
