Authorized Language definition

Authorized Language means the language in which the programmes/ content of the Channels is broadcast by the Broadcaster and the Affiliate is required to distribute the Channels in the same language and not to change the language of the Channel – either by way of dubbing and/or introducing the sub-titles or otherwise. The term Authorized Language may also be referred to as “the Agreed Language/Designated Language or Language” in this Agreement for the purpose of convenience;

Examples of Authorized Language in a sentence

  • Licensee shall exhibit each Program as delivered by Licensor in its entirety in the form delivered by Licensor in the Authorized Language.

  • Licensor only agrees that during the License Period for any Pay TV or Free TV Licensed Right it will not broadcast or authorize a broadcast of the Picture in any Authorized Language which broadcast originates in the Region outside the Territory and is intended for primary reception within the Territory except this provision will not apply to broadcasts in the original unsubtitled English language even if English is an Authorized Language.

  • Unless English is an official language in the Territory, Licensor’s agreement in the second sentence of each of the previous three subparagraphs does not apply to the original, unsubtitled English language version of the Picture even if English is an Authorized Language.

  • Annual Financial Report (AFR):• All revenues including reimbursements and student payments, and expenses including food, labor, equipment, purchased services, and other need to be entered into the program to which they belong, and this will aid the school in calculating its “yearly” reference period for nonprogram food compliance which is highly recommended.

  • Licensor only agrees that during the License Period for any Video Licensed Right it will not sell or authorize sale in any Authorized Language of Videograms embodying the Picture that are sold in the Region outside the Territory and intended for primary consumer sale or rental within the Territory except this provision will not apply to sales of original unsubtitled English language Videograms even if English is an Authorized Language.

PROGRAM NAME (and episode numbers, if applicable): See attached Schedule A LICENSE PERIOD: For each Program (or broadcast season of episodes thereof) commences on the applicable License Period Start Date thereof (or broadcast season of episodes thereof) set forth in Schedule A, and terminates on the earlier of (a) the last permitted exhibition, as set forth below, or (b) the applicable License Period End Date set forth in Schedule A (unless terminated earlier in accordance with Section 3.1 and/or Article 14 of the Standard Terms and Conditions).
Authorized Language. For each country of the Territory, the Authorized Language for a Program is the original language or English and/or the original language or English dubbed and/or subtitled into the language local to the country within such Territory to the extent readily available.
