Authorized Language definition

Authorized Language means the language in which the programmes/ content of the Channels is broadcast by the Broadcaster and the Affiliate is required to distribute the Channels in the same language and not to change the language of the Channel – either by way of dubbing and/or introducing the sub-titles or otherwise. The term Authorized Language may also be referred to as “the Agreed Language/Designated Language or Language” in this Agreement for the purpose of convenience;

Examples of Authorized Language in a sentence

  • Transmission/Distribution of the Channels other than in the Authorized Language.

  • The Affiliate undertakes that it shall distribute and ensure continuous distribution of the Service in the designated Territory and Authorized Language only in its entirety and in the same manner as it is received without any disturbances, disruptions/interruptions, editing, modification, including any scrolling, imposing or superimposing of advertisements, incorporating sub-titles or otherwise tampering with the telecast/content, editing, voice over etc., interference, de-modulation.

  • The waste received by AD’s is more often than not source separated or put through mechanical handling systems.

  • Unless English is an official language in the Territory, Licensor’s agreement in the second sentence of each of the previous three subparagraphs does not apply to the original, unsubtitled English language version of the Picture even if English is an Authorized Language.

  • It is reiterated and acknowledged that the Licensed Rights granted to the Affiliate for subscribing the Channel(s)/Services are only for further distribution in the agreed Territory and Authorized Language on continuous basis through its DAS Platform and only to its Subscribers whose details have been recorded in CAS/SMS and declared to BCCL as per the terms of this Agreement.

  • Licensor only agrees, subject to Paragraph iv), that until the end of the Holdback for any Video Licensed Rights, Licensor will not authorize making the Picture available on the Internet in any Authorized Language for Downloading at reasonably identifiable locations in the Territory.

  • Subject to the terms of this Agreement, Licensor exclusively licenses to Distributor the Licensed Rights in the Picture for their respective License Periods throughout the Territory for exploitation only by the Authorized Language Use(s), for the Authorized Format(s), on the Licensed Channel(s), for no more than the Licensed Telecast(s), and subject to all Use Restrictions set forth in the Deal Terms.

  • Licensor only agrees, subject to Paragraph iv), that during the License Period for any Video Licensed Right it will not sell or authorize sale of Videograms embodying the Picture in any Authorized Language within the Region where those Videograms are intended for primary consumer sale or rental within the Territory.

  • Distributor may not create dubbed, subtitled or parallel track versions of the Picture unless they are Authorized Language Uses in the Deal Terms.

  • Licensee shall exhibit each Program as delivered by Licensor in its entirety in the form delivered by Licensor in the Authorized Language.
