AWP means the Average Wholesale Price effective on the day the drug was dispensed.
AWP means the “average wholesale price” for a standard package size of a prescription drug from the most current pricing information provided to PBM by Medi-Span Prescription Pricing Guide, or following approval by the Board, any other nationally available reporting service of pharmaceutical prices as utilized by PBM as a pricing source for prescription drug pricing.
