Ballot issue notice definition

Ballot issue notice means the notice which is required by section 20 (3)(b) of article X of the state constitution and comprises the material between the notice title and the conclusion of the summary of comments.

Ballot issue notice. The CEO shall determine the “least cost” method for mailing the Ballot Issue Notice and combine the text of the Ballot Issue Notice produced by the Jurisdiction with those of other Jurisdictions to produce the Ballot Issue Notice.   • Ballot issue means a question that has been approved to be placed before the voters or is otherwise required by law to be placed before the voters. “Ballot issue” does not include the nomination or election of a candidate.
