Basic Fire Fighter is an employee responsible for undertaking works associated with implementing a fire incident management strategy. “Crew Leader” is an employee responsible for leading a group of Basic Fire Fighters (generally up to five) to implement on-ground works associated with a fire incident management strategy. “Consecutive Shifts” are those that follow each other despite there being an eight hour break between one shift and the next. “Day” is the time between midnight of one day and midnight the following day.
