Eight hour break. 3.6(a) An employee (other than a casual employee) who works so much overtime between the termination of ordinary work one day and the commencement of the employee’s ordinary work on the next day that the employee has not had at least eight consecutive hours off duty between those times will, subject to this subclause, be released after completion of such overtime until the employee has eight consecutive hours off duty. There will be no loss of pay for ordinary time occurring during such absences.
Eight hour break. An employee must wherever practicable have at least eight hours free from duty between the completion of one rostered shift and the commencement of the next rostered shift. However where the ordinary hours of work on a rostered shift have exceeded eight hours the period free from duty must be at least equal to the number of ordinary hours of that rostered shift.
Eight hour break. An employee who works so much overtime that the employee has not had at least 8 consecutive hours off duty plus reasonable travelling time:
(i) between the termination of the employee’s ordinary duty on any day or shift, and the commencement of the employee’s ordinary work on the next day or shift; or
(ii) on a Saturday, Sunday or a public holiday, not being an ordinary working day, or on a rostered day off, in the 24 hours preceding the employee’s ordinary commencing time on the employee’s next ordinary day or shift; will be granted time off under subclause 22.10.
Eight hour break. An employee who has been on duty for four (4) or more hours outside of the employee’s regularly scheduled shift, shall not report to work the following regularly scheduled shift until the employee has had a minimum of eight (8) consecutive hours relief.
A. Any part of the employee’s relief period which falls within the affected employee’s regularly scheduled shift shall be compensated at the applicable straight time rate of pay. If employees do not report for work following such eight (8) hours of relief, they will not be entitled to straight-time pay for those hours of their regularly scheduled shift which were included in their eight (8) hours of relief.
B. When required to work by the Company with less than eight (8) consecutive hours relief, the employee will receive two (2) times the applicable straight time rate for all hours worked until eight (8) hours of continuous relief is received.
C. Employees shall have the option to use FTO in lieu of returning to work to complete the regularly scheduled shift.

Eight hour break. (a) An employee (other than a casual employee), who works so much overtime between the termination of ordinary work one day and the commencement of the employee’s ordinary work on the next day that the employee has not had at least eight consecutive hours off duty or a period free from duty that is at least equal to the number of ordinary hours of the shift being worked must, subject to clause 7.10.6(b), be released after completion of such overtime until such employee has eight consecutive hours off duty without loss of pay for ordinary time occurring during such absences.
(b) If, on instructions of the CWT, such an employee resumes or continues to work without having the number of consecutive hours off duty as specified in clause 7.10.6(a), the employee must be paid at appropriate overtime rates until so released and will then be entitled to be absent until having had such consecutive hours off duty without loss of pay occurring during such absence.

An employee who is required to work more than six consecutive days if a day work employee, or six consecutive shifts if a shift work employee, without a clear interval from work of 28 hours after the sixth day or shift, must be paid double for all work performed after the sixth day or shift until the employee has had such clear interval of 28 hours

Eight hour break. 15.7.1 When overtime work is necessary, it shall wherever reasonably practicable, be so arranged that employees have at least eight consecutive hours off duty between work on successive days. Where there is not at least eight hours off duty between consecutive shifts, the employee shall be released after the completion of the overtime until eight consecutive hours off duty has occurred without loss of pay for ordinary working time, unless otherwise agreed.
15.7.2 If on the instruction of the ARCBS an employee resumes or continues to work without having had such eight consecutive hours off duty, they shall be paid double time, for all hours worked until they are released from duty. Following such period they shall be entitled to be absent until they have had eight consecutive hours off duty without loss of pay for any ordinary working time which occurs during such absence.
Eight hour break. 6.4.6.1 An employee (other than a casual employee) who works so much overtime between the termination of ordinary work one day and the commencement of the employee’s ordinary work on the next day that the employee has not had at least eight consecutive hours off duty or a period free from duty that is at least equal to the number of ordinary hours of the shift being worked must, subject to 6.4.6.2, be released after completion of such overtime until such employee has eight consecutive hours off duty without loss of pay for ordinary time occurring during such absences.
6.4.6.2 If on instructions of the employer such an employee resumes or continues to work without having the number of consecutive hours off duty as specified in 6.4.6.1, the employee must be paid at appropriate overtime rates until so released and will then be entitled to be absent until having had such consecutive hours off duty without loss of pay occurring during such absence.
