Benefit Administrator definition

Benefit Administrator means the service provider to the Plan that is responsible for maintaining the records of the Participants’ Accounts and determining benefits under the Plan, and for performing certain other benefit administration and communications functions, in accordance with such contractual agreements and direction letters as may exist from time to time between such service provider and the Plan Administrator or Sponsor. The Benefit Administrator is sometimes referred to as the “Record Keeper” in certain documents such as the trust agreement with the Trustee. As of the Restatement Effective Date, the Benefit Administrator is Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association of America.
Benefit Administrator means the entity designated under Section 8.2 to be responsible for the administration of some or all of the benefits under the Plan.

  • A Participant may modify any such deduction percentage or Deferral Percentage by designating the new deduction percentage or Deferral Percentage in the manner specified by the Benefit Administrator, and the modification shall be effective as of the first payroll period following receipt of such designation, or as soon thereafter as administratively feasible.

  • Section 2.2 of the Plan is amended in its entirety effective as of January 1, 1993, to read as follows: 2.2 Entry Date: Any eligible Employee shall enter the Plan as soon as administratively feasible following the receipt by the Benefit Administrator of the Application for Participation and, if 401(k) Basic Deposits and/or 401(k) Additional Deposits are to be made, a Compensation Reduction and Deferral Agreement.
