Benefits Counseling definition

Benefits Counseling means the benefits supports, training, and planning delivered as an activity of employment path services.
Benefits Counseling means counseling that describes the effect of earned income on a person’s public benefits and other support services, such as food stamps, housing assistance, supple- mental security income, social security disability insurance or medical assistance.
Benefits Counseling is defined as professional information services that allow a VR client and/or an SSA Beneficiary to understand the effect that employment will have on their public benefits.
