BHS Program definition

BHS Program means collectively the four divisions comprising the Behavioral 21 Health Services Program: 1) Adult Mental Health Services, 2) Children and Youth Mental Health 22 Services, 3) Alcohol and Drug Abuse Services, and 4) Correctional Health Services. These programs 23 provide services to eligible Orange County adult residents who have serious and persistent mental 24 disorder; children and youth who are behaviorally, emotionally or mentally disordered; and persons with 25 substance abuse disorders. Services are provided directly by the County as well as a number of 26 contracted community-based organizations.
BHS Program. The term of this Contract shall be effective from June 20, 2012 through and including December 31, 2013, renewable for four (4) additional one-year periods upon mutual concurrence by the Parties. This Contract shall be in effect for the time period specified unless terminated by the Parties in accordance with Articles 3, 4, and 5.

Examples of BHS Program in a sentence

  • At the BHS Program’s discretion, it may enroll clients in the current BHS Program Plan Benefit Design, pending outcome of the appeal process.

  • Rebate quotes must be itemized by rebate guaranteed for each applicable MSI Program or BHS Program formulary, and by MSI Program or BHS Program formularies that will be designed according to lowest net-net drug cost before rebates.

  • The Contractor is responsible for administering and processing pharmacy claims for eligible services in accordance with the BHS Program Guidelines.

  • Treatment Service Providers use the BHS Electronic Health Records System and follow data reporting procedures set forth by SFDPH Information Technology (IT), BHS Quality Management and BHS Program Administration.

  • Contractor shall adjudicate claims in accordance with both the MSI Program and BHS Program formularies and shall provide information to County for optimization of the MSI Program and/or BHS Program formularies, including providing the County with current, in-depth drug reviews and drug lists.

  • Contractor shall maintain a telephone number dedicated to facilitating communication with the County, County contractors and providers submitting claims for the BHS Program.

  • Specific documentation for the customer service department shall be created by Contractor based upon the needs of the BHS Program and corresponding plan designs.

  • The following details the desired Plan Benefit Design for these populations, which are subject to change as defined by Medicare regulations, provided, however, in all cases – the cost of the medication should be billed to Medicare or Medi-Cal as appropriate and the County will only be billed for the appropriate co-pay and/or deductible for BHS Program clients.

  • The BHS Program is the payer of last resort for medically necessary medications in the treatment of mental illness.

  • Contractor guarantees that all patient medication change programs and physician directives for drug switches will be approved or denied based on MSI Program and/or BHS Program policies for patient communications.

Related to BHS Program

  • AML Program has the meaning ascribed thereto in Schedule 2.1(F)(8) hereof.

  • PEBB program means the program within the HCA that administers insurance and other benefits for eligible employees (as described in WAC 182-12-114), eligible retired employees (as described in WAC 182-12-171 and 182-12-180), eligible survivors (as described in WAC 182-12-180, 182-12-250, and 182-12-265), eligible dependents (as de- scribed in WAC 182-12-250 and 182-12-260) and others as defined in RCW 41.05.011.

  • CRAF Program means the Civil Reserve Air Fleet Program authorized under 10 U.S.C. Section 9511 et seq. or any similar or substitute program under the laws of the United States.

  • Marketing program means a program established by order of the director pursuant to this act prescribing rules and regulations governing the marketing for processing, distributing, selling, or handling an agricultural commodity produced in this state or agricultural commodity input during a specified period and

  • Educational program means a program for educating and preparing physician assistants which is approved by the board.
