Bona fide attempt means a good faith attempt to contact a landowner in a timely manner, considering the landowner's availability, location, and other applicable considerations.
Bona fide attempt has the meaning ascribed hereto in Section 4.3;
Bona fide employee means a person, employed by a bidder and subject to the bidder's supervision and control as to time, place, and manner of performance, who neither exerts, nor proposes to exert improper influence to solicit or obtain contracts nor holds out as being able to obtain any contract(s) through improper influence.
Bona fide means a licensed fishing boat marked with its licensed fishing boat number, with a fishing crew who hold commercial fishing licences;
Bona fide member means an individual who participates in activities of a qualified organization
Bona Fide Request (BFR) is the process described in the applicable Appendix UNE.
Bona fide agency, as used in this clause, means an established commercial or selling agency, maintained by a contractor for the purpose of securing business, that neither exerts nor proposes to exert improper influence to solicit or obtain Government contracts nor holds itself out as being able to obtain any Government contract or contracts through improper influence.
Bona Fide Request (BFR) means the process described in Attachment 08 – Bona Fide Request (BFR).
Bona fide purchaser means a purchaser of property for value who was not knowingly a party to fraud or illegality affect- ing the interest of the spouses or other parties to the transaction, does not have notice of an adverse claim by a spouse and acted in the transaction in good faith.
Bona Fide Offer means an actual or genuine offer which includes a specific wage or a training opportunity at a specified place when used to determine whether the parent has refused an offer of training or employment.
Bona fide physician-patient relationship means a treatment or counseling relationship between a physician and patient in which all of the following are present:
Bona fide association means, with respect to health insurance coverage offered in this
Company Affiliate means any entity controlled by, in control of, or under common control with, the Company.
Significant Customer has the meaning set forth in Section 5.22(a).
Major Customer has the meaning set forth in Section 3.22.
Prospective state contractor means a person, business entity or nonprofit organization that (i) submits a response to a state contract solicitation by the state, a state agency or a quasi-public agency, or a proposal in response to a request for proposals by the state, a state agency or a quasi-public agency, until the contract has been entered into, or (ii) holds a valid prequalification certificate issued by the Commissioner of Administrative Services under section 4a-100. "Prospective state contractor" does not include a municipality or any other political subdivision of the state, including any entities or associations duly created by the municipality or political subdivision exclusively amongst themselves to further any purpose authorized by statute or charter, or an employee in the executive or legislative branch of state government or a quasi-public agency, whether in the classified or unclassified service and full or part-time, and only in such person's capacity as a state or quasi-public agency employee.
Protected Customer means any Person to whom the Company Group has sold its products or services or actively solicited to sell its products or services.
Vendor or “Vendors” means any entity submitting a bid in response to the Solicitation, the entity that has been selected as the lowest responsible bidder, or the entity that has been awarded the Contract as context requires.
household customer means a customer purchasing electricity for his own household consumption, excluding commercial or professional activities;
Prospective Customer means any individual, corporation, trust or other business entity which has either (a) entered into a nondisclosure agreement with the Company or any Company subsidiary or affiliate or (b) has within the preceding 12 months received a currently pending and not rejected written proposal in reasonable detail from the Company or any of the Company’s subsidiary or affiliate.
BNY Affiliate means any office, branch or subsidiary of The Bank of New York Company, Inc.
Customer means the State agency or other entity identified in a contract as the party to receive commodities or contractual services pursuant to a contract or that orders commodities or contractual services via purchase order or other contractual instrument from the Contractor under the Contract. The “Customer” may also be the “Buyer” as defined in the PUR 1001 if it meets the definition of both terms.
Third Party means a provider of digital educational software or services, including cloud- based services, for the digital storage, management, and retrieval of Education Records and/or Student Data, as that term is used in some state statutes. However, for the purpose of this DPA, the term “Third Party” when used to indicate the provider of digital educational software or services is replaced by the term “Provider.” EXHIBIT “D” DIRECTIVE FOR DISPOSITION OF DATA Provider to dispose of data obtained by Provider pursuant to the terms of the Service Agreement between LEA and Provider. The terms of the Disposition are set forth below:
Prospective Client means any person or entity to which the Corporation, or any of its Subsidiaries, provided, or from which the Corporation, or any of its Subsidiaries received, a proposal, bid, or written inquiry (general advertising or promotional materials and mass mailings excepted) and with which the Participant had contact, or about which the Participant had access to Confidential Information, during the last twelve (12) months of his or her employment.
Third Party Owner means any person who is the legal or beneficial owner (including a Lessor) of any Assets used or occupied by, or in the possession of the Deed Company as at the Appointment Date.
Third Party Vendor means any person or entity that provides SaaS, third party software and/or related intellectual property. “Work” means any additional work the Customer requests Singtel to perform in relation to the Service.
Retail Client means a client who is not a professional client;
Transferring Former Supplier Employees in relation to a Former Supplier, those employees of the Former Supplier to whom the Employment Regulations will apply on the Relevant Transfer Date; and
