Building Addition definition

Building Addition means any structural modification or alteration that results in an increase in habitable floor area of the building served, including, but not limited to, the modification of attic, basement or garage space into habitable space or the addition of dormers.
Building Addition means any building or structures, other than the existing building, within the heavy lines shown on Map 2 above finished ground, as well as buildings or structures below finished ground associated with building or structures above finished ground;

Building Addition means an extension or increase in the floor area or height of an existing building beyond the existing building envelope.
Building Addition or “addition” means a part added to a building, either by being built so as to form one architectural whole with it, or by being joined with it in some way, as by a passage, and so that one is a necessary adjunct or appurtenance of the other or so that both constitute the same building.

The building official is also the designated authority charged with the administration and enforcement in the city of Columbus of the Ohio Building Code (OBC) approved by the Ohio Board of Building Standards (OBBS)in accordance with Chapter 1, "Administration", of the Ohio Building Code.

  • Building Area means the greatest horizontal area of a building within the outside surface of the exterior walls.

  • Common Area means all areas and facilities within the Project that are not designated by Landlord for the exclusive use of Tenant or any other lessee or other occupant of the Project, including the parking areas, access and perimeter roads, pedestrian sidewalks, landscaped areas, trash enclosures, recreation areas and the like.

  • Leased Premises means the Leased Premises as defined in Paragraph 1.

  • Building Square Footage or "BSF" means the square footage of assessable internal living space of a Unit, exclusive of any carports, walkways, garages, overhangs, patios, enclosed patios, detached accessory structure, other structures not used as living space, or any other square footage excluded under Government Code Section 65995 as determined by reference to the Building Permit for such Unit.
