Bulky Item definition

Bulky Item means discarded appliances, furniture, tires, carpets, mattresses, and similar large items City of Milpitas/Republic Services EXHIBIT A DEFINITIONS that require special Collection due to their size or nature, but can be Collected without the assistance of special loading equipment (such as forklifts or cranes) and without violating vehicle load limits. It does not include abandoned automobiles, large auto parts, or trees.

Bulky Item means large items of a household nature including but not limited to furniture, stoves, refrigerators, dishwashers, mattresses, bed springs, empty hot water and oil tanks (cut in half), toys, bicycles and lawn furniture;

Bulky Item means a household item other than an item for which special collection services are provided, which is larger than 1.2 metres in any one dimension or weighs in excess of 20 kilograms, including furniture of whatever size and weight as may be determined by the General Manager.

• Contractor shall allow the scheduling of On-Call Bulky Item Collection Service events from February 1 through December 31 of each Rate Year.
