California Confidentiality Laws means the applicable laws of the State of California governing the confidentiality, privacy, or security of PHI or other PII, including, but not limited to, the California Confidentiality of Medical Information Act (Cal. Civil Code § 56 et seq.), the patient access law (Cal. Health & Safety Code § 123100 et seq.), the HIV test result confidentiality law (Cal. Health & Safety Code § 120975 et seq.), the Xxxxxxxxx-Xxxxxx-Short Act (Cal. Welf. & Inst. Code § 5328 et seq.), and California’s data breach law (Cal. Civil Code § 1798.29).
