Canadian Dealer Offered Rate definition

Canadian Dealer Offered Rate means, with respect to any Borrowing denominated in Canadian Dollars for any Interest Period, (a) the applicable Screen Rate at or about 10:00 a.m. Toronto time on the Quotation Day or (b) if no Screen Rate is available for such Interest Period, the applicable Interpolated Rate as of such time on the Quotation Day, or if applicable pursuant to Section 2.14(a), the applicable Reference Bank Rate as of such time on the Quotation Day, plus, in each case, 0.10% per annum.
Canadian Dealer Offered Rate means, with respect to any Borrowing denominated in Canadian Dollars for any Interest Period, (a) the applicable Screen Rate at or about 10:00 a.m. Toronto time on the Quotation Day or (b) if no Screen Rate is available for such Interest Period, the applicable Interpolated Rate as of such time on the Quotation Day, or if applicable pursuant to S ection 2.14(a), the applicable Reference Bank Rate as of such time on the Quotation Day, plus, in each case, 0.10% per annum.
Canadian Dealer Offered Rate means, with respect to any Canadian Borrowing for any Interest Period, on any day, the annual rate of interest which is the rate determined as being the arithmetic average of the quotations of all institutions listed in respect of such Interest Period for Canadian Dollar denominated bankers’ acceptances displayed and identified as such on the “Reuters Screen CDOR Page” as defined in the International Swap Dealer Association, Inc. definitions, as modified and amended from time to time, as of 10:00 a.m., Local Time, on such day and, if such day is not a Business Day, then on the immediately preceding Business Day (as adjusted by the Canadian Administrative Agent after such time to reflect any error in the posted average annual rate of interest) plus 0.10%; provided that if such rates are not available on the Reuters Screen CDOR Page on any particular day, then such rate on that day shall be calculated as the cost of funds quoted by the Canadian Administrative Agent to raise Canadian Dollars for such Interest Period as of 10:00 a.m., Local Time, on such day for commercial loans and other extensions of credit to businesses of comparable credit risk or, if such day is not a Business Day, then as quoted by the Canadian Administrative Agent on the immediately preceding Business Day.

A "London Banking Day" is a day on which the Bank's London Branch is open for business and dealing in offshore dollars.

  • Interbank Offered Rate means, for any Eurodollar Loan for any Interest Period therefor, the rate per annum (rounded upwards, if necessary, to the nearest 1/100 of 1%) appearing on Reuters Screen LIBO Page as the London interbank offered rate for deposits in Dollars at approximately 11:00 a.m. (London time) two Business Days prior to the first day of such Interest Period for a term comparable to such Interest Period; provided, however, if more than one rate is specified on Reuters Screen LIBO Page, the applicable rate shall be the arithmetic mean of all such rates (rounded upwards, if necessary, to the nearest 1/100 of 1%).

  • Grain dealer means a person engaged in the business of receiving, buying, exchanging, selling, or storing farm produce in this state. The term includes a farm produce trucker, grain merchandiser, or processor. The term does not include a person solely engaged in 1 of the following:

  • London Interbank Offered Rate has the meaning set forth in Section 2.07(b).

  • Adjusted London Interbank Offered Rate applicable to any Interest Period means a rate per annum equal to the quotient obtained (rounded upward, if necessary, to the next higher 1/100 of 1%) by dividing (i) the applicable London Interbank Offered Rate by (ii) 1.00 minus the Euro-Dollar Reserve Percentage.

  • Commercial Paper Dealers means Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Incorporated and such other commercial paper dealer or dealers as the Corporation may from time to time appoint, or, in lieu of any thereof, their respective affiliates or successors.

  • Reference Bond Dealer means each of five banks which are primary government securities dealers or market makers in pricing corporate bond issuances, as selected by the Calculation Agent in its discretion after consultation with the Issuer;

  • Reference Dealer Rate means with respect to the Reference Dealers and the Optional Redemption Date, the average of the five quotations of the mid-market annual yield to maturity of the Reference Bond or, if the Reference Bond is no longer outstanding, a similar security in the reasonable judgement of the Reference Dealers at 11.00 a.m. London time on the third business day in London preceding the Optional Redemption Date quoted in writing to the Issuer by the Reference Dealers.

  • Scrap metal dealer means a person or governmental unit that buys scrap metal and is not a first purchaser. The term includes, but is not limited to, a person, whether or not licensed under state law or local ordinance, that operates a business as a scrap metal recycler, scrap processor, secondhand and junk dealer, or other person that purchases any amount of scrap metal on a regular, sporadic, or 1-time basis.

  • Substitute Commercial Paper Dealers means such Substitute Commercial Paper Dealer or Dealers as the Corporation may from time to time appoint or, in lieu of any thereof, their respective affiliates or successors.

  • investment dealer means a person or company registered in the category of investment dealer;

  • Canadian Dollar means the lawful currency of Canada.

  • inter-dealer bond broker means a person or company that is approved by the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada under its Rule No. 36 Inter-Dealer Bond Brokerage Systems, as amended, and is subject to its Rule No. 36 and its Rule 2100 Inter-Dealer Bond Brokerage Systems, as amended from time to time;

  • Money Market LIBOR Loan means a loan to be made by a Bank pursuant to a LIBOR Auction (including such a loan bearing interest at the Base Rate pursuant to Section 8.01(a)).

  • Wholesale dealer means any dealer who deals in, or who holds a licence under any law to deal in, as the case may be, wholesale quantities of goods, and the business and stock of a wholesale dealer shall be deemed to include the business and stocks of any retail dealer who conducts business on the same premises on which the wholesale dealer conducts his or her business; and

  • Eligible Dealer means any corporation or other entity having as a principal business acting as a broker or dealer in securities.

  • Regular Dealer means a firm that meets the definition set forth in Section VII(c).

  • Discount Rate means the rate used by the Plan Administrator for determining the Accrual Balance. The initial Discount Rate is six percent (6%). However, the Plan Administrator, in its discretion, may adjust the Discount Rate to maintain the rate within reasonable standards according to GAAP and/or applicable bank regulatory guidance.

  • Mid-Market Swap Rate Quotation means a quotation (expressed as a percentage rate per annum) for the relevant Mid-Market Swap Rate;

  • Quotation Date means, in relation to any Interest Period (or any other period for which an interest rate is to be determined under any provision of a Finance Document), the day on which quotations would ordinarily be given by leading banks in the London Interbank Market for deposits in the currency in relation to which such rate is to be determined for delivery on the first day of that Interest Period or other period;

  • Credit Underwriter means the independent contractor under contract with the Corporation having the responsibility for providing Credit Underwriting services.

  • Renminbi Dealer means an independent foreign exchange dealer of international repute active in the Renminbi exchange market in Hong Kong reasonably selected by the Issuer.

  • securities dealer means a person or entity that is authorized under provincial legislation to engage in the business of dealing in securities or any other financial instruments or to provide portfolio management or investment advising services.
