Cash items in the process of collection means checks or drafts in the process of col- lection that are drawn on another depository institution, including a central bank, and that are payable immediately upon presen- tation in the country in which the reporting bank’s office that is clearing or collecting the check or draft is located; U.S. Govern- ment checks that are drawn on the United States Treasury or any other U.S. Govern- ment or Government-sponsored agency and that are payable immediately upon presen- tation; broker’s security drafts and com- modity or bill-of-lading drafts payable im- mediately upon presentation in the United States or the country in which the reporting bank’s office that is handling the drafts is lo- cated; and unposted debits.
