In the case of a unit price contract, the Project Manager/Officer will at the same time issue a Final Certificate of Measurement setting out the final quantities used or employed in respect of the classes and units set out in the Unit Price Table, and any subsequent amendments thereto, under Clause 4 of the Offer and Agreement, such certificate to be binding upon the Contractor and the National Capital Commission.
The amount referred to in Clause 1 of the Offer and Agreement will be deemed to be the amount computed by totalling the products of the unit prices set out in Clause 4 of the Offer and Agreement, as amended pursuant to sub-paragraph ii) hereof, if applicable, and the actual quantities of such units as set out in the Project Manager/Officer's Final Certificate of Measurement, subject to and, adjustment provided for in sub-paragraph ii) of this sub-section.
Where the Contract is, in whole or in part, a Unit Price Arrangement, the Departmental Representative shall, at the same time as the issuance of the Certificate of Completion, issue a Certificate of Measurement setting out the Authorized Quantities used or employed in respect of the classes and units set out in the Price Table under the BID AND ACCEPTANCE FORM and any subsequent amendments thereto, such certificate to be binding upon the Contractor and Canada.
If work is based on unit prices, measure and record the quantities for verification of monthly progress claims and the Final Certificate of Measurement.
The Authorised Measurer shall on receipt of the prescribed fee (if any) measure the vessel and calculate its tonnage in accordance with these Regulations and shall issue and deliver to the Secretary of State a Certificate of Measurement in a form approved by the Secretary of State.

A sum that is equal to the aggregate of the products of the number of units of measurement of each class of labour, plant and material that is set out in a Final Certificate of Measurement referred to in GC43.6 multiplied in each case by the appropriate unit price that is set out in the Unit Price Table “Appendix D” in consideration for the performance of the work or the part thereof that is subject to a Unit Price Arrangement.
