Certificate of Measurement definition

Certificate of Measurement means a certificate issued by the NCC certifying the correctness of the final quantities, prices per unit and values of labour, Plant and Material performed, used and supplied by the Contractor for the construction of the part of the Work to which a Unit Price Arrangement applies;

Examples of Certificate of Measurement in a sentence

  • In the case of a unit price contract, the Project Manager/Officer will at the same time issue a Final Certificate of Measurement setting out the final quantities used or employed in respect of the classes and units set out in the Unit Price Table, and any subsequent amendments thereto, under Clause 4 of the Offer and Agreement, such certificate to be binding upon the Contractor and the National Capital Commission.

  • The amount referred to in Clause 1 of the Offer and Agreement will be deemed to be the amount computed by totalling the products of the unit prices set out in Clause 4 of the Offer and Agreement, as amended pursuant to sub-paragraph ii) hereof, if applicable, and the actual quantities of such units as set out in the Project Manager/Officer's Final Certificate of Measurement, subject to and, adjustment provided for in sub-paragraph ii) of this sub-section.
