Chemical Dependency Treatment Facility definition

Chemical Dependency Treatment Facility means a public or private facility, or unit in a facility, which is engaged in providing 24-hour a day treatment for chemical dependency or substance abuse. This treatment may include detoxification, administration of a therapeutic regimen for the treatment of chemically dependent or substance abusing persons and related services. The facility or unit may be:
Chemical Dependency Treatment Facility means a facility licensed by the Texas Commission on Alcohol and Drug Abuse (TCADA) under Sec. 464.002 of the Health and Safety Code to provide chemical dependency treatment.
Chemical Dependency Treatment Facility means a licensed institution which provides a program for diagnosis, evaluation, and effective treatment of alcoholism and/or Chemical Dependency; provides detoxification services needed with its effective treatment program; provides infirmary-level medical services or arranges with a Hospital in the area for any other medical services that may be required; is at all times supervised by a staff of Physicians; provides at all times skilled nursing care by licensed nurses who are directed by a full-time Registered Nurse (R.N.); prepares and maintains a written plan of treatment for each patient based on medical, psychological and social needs which is supervised by a Physician; and meets licensing standards.

Chemical Dependency Treatment Facility means a hospital or facility which is licensed by the Rhode Island Department of Health as a hospital or as a community residential facility for chemical dependency and chemical dependency treatment, unless we can establish through a pre-admission certification process that services are not available at a facility that meets these requirements.
