Child within the child welfare system definition

Child within the child welfare system or “child” means a special needs child and any other child who was removed from the child’s caregiver due to abuse or neglect and whose permanent custody has been awarded to the department or to a licensed child-placing agency.

  • Child welfare agency means a child-placing agency, child-caring institution or independent foster

  • Licensed health care practitioner means a physician, as defined in Section 1861(r)(1) of the Social Security Act, a registered professional nurse, licensed social worker or other individual who meets requirements prescribed by the Secretary of the Treasury.

  • Welfare Benefit Plan means each welfare benefit plan maintained or contributed to by the Company, including, but not limited to a plan that provides health (including medical and dental), life, accident or disability benefits or insurance, or similar coverage, in which Executive was participating at the time of the Change in Control.

  • Health care worker means a person other than a health care professional who provides medical, dental, or other health-related care or treatment under the direction of a health care professional with the authority to direct that individual's activities, including medical technicians, medical assistants, dental assistants, orderlies, aides, and individuals acting in similar capacities.

  • Professional employer organization means an employee leasing

  • COVID-19 Pandemic means the pandemic caused by COVID-19 or the SARS-Co-V-2 virus (or any mutation or variation thereof).

  • Designated chemical dependency specialist means a person

  • Chemical dependency professional means a person certified as a chemical dependency professional by the department of health under chapter 18.205 RCW.

  • Commercial Mobile Radio Service or “CMRS” means Commercial Mobile Radio Service as defined in Part 20 of the FCC’s Rules.
