College in the high school course definition

College in the high school course means a dual credit course provided on a high school campus or in a high school environ- ment in which an eligible student is given the opportunity to earn high school credit to be awarded by a district, charter school, or tribal compact school and college credit awarded by the participating institution of higher education by completing a college course with a passing grade. College in the high school courses may be either aca- demic or career and technical (vocational) education.

  • College or university means a county college, an independent

  • College means any college in the South Carolina Technical College System.

  • African American means a person having origins in any of the original peoples of Africa and who is regarded as such by the community of which this person claims to be a part.

  • Stopover means a scheduled stop on your journey, at a point between the place of departure and the place of destination.

  • Third Party means a provider of digital educational software or services, including cloud- based services, for the digital storage, management, and retrieval of Education Records and/or Student Data, as that term is used in some state statutes. However, for the purpose of this DPA, the term “Third Party” when used to indicate the provider of digital educational software or services is replaced by the term “Provider.” EXHIBIT “D” DIRECTIVE FOR DISPOSITION OF DATA Provider to dispose of data obtained by Provider pursuant to the terms of the Service Agreement between LEA and Provider. The terms of the Disposition are set forth below:

  • Enterprises means DTE Enterprises, Inc., a Michigan corporation wholly-owned by the Borrower.

  • School entity means a school district, intermediate

  • College community means trustees, students, staff, faculty, and visitors on college-owned or controlled facilities.

  • Michigan economic development corporation means the public body corporate created under section 28 of article VII of the state constitution of 1963 and the urban cooperation act of 1967, 1967 (Ex Sess) PA 7, MCL 124.501 to 124.512, by a contractual interlocal agreement effective April 5, 1999, as amended, between local participating economic development corporations formed under the economic development corporations act, 1974 PA 338, MCL 125.1601 to 125.1636, and the Michigan strategic fund. If the Michigan economic development corporation is unable for any reason to perform its duties under this act, those duties may be exercised by the Michigan strategic fund.

  • Microenterprise means an enterprise which employs fewer than 10 persons and whose annual turnover and/or annual balance sheet total does not exceed EUR 2 million;

  • University Member means any individual who is:

  • THCA or "Δ9-THCA" means the acid form of THC.

  • Resident school district means the public school district in which the student resides.

  • Next Michigan development corporation means that term as defined in section 3 of the next Michigan development act, 2010 PA 275, MCL 125.2953.

  • Serving Wire Center (SWC) means a Wire Center that serves the area in which the other Party’s or a third party’s Wire Center, aggregation point, point of termination, or point of presence is located.

  • PECR means the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 (SI 2426/2003).

  • School or We or Us means Notre Dame School Cobham as now or in the future constituted (and any successor). The School is constituted as a charitable company limited by guarantee.

  • University means Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi

  • Public school academy means a public school academy or strict discipline academy organized under the revised school code, 1976 PA 451, MCL 380.1 to 380.1852.

  • Professional Sports means a sport, which would remunerate a player in excess of 50% of his or her annual income as a means of their livelihood.

  • Primary highway means any highway, other than an inter- state highway, at any time officially designated as a part of the fed- eral−aid primary system by the department and approved by the appropriate authority of the federal government.

  • Historically Black Colleges or University , as used in this clause means an institution determined by the Secretary of Education to meet the requirements of 34 CFR Section 608.2. The term also includes any nonprofit research institution that was an integral part of such a college or university before November 14, 1986.

  • Public university means a public university described in section 4, 5, or 6 of article VIII of the state constitution of 1963.

  • School district of residence means the school district

  • Youth Football means those participating at ages under 11s to under 18s.

  • Generation Owner means a Member that owns, leases with rights equivalent to ownership, or otherwise controls and operates one or more operating generation resources located in the PJM Region. The foregoing notwithstanding, for a planned generation resource to qualify a Member as a Generation Owner, such resource shall have cleared an RPM auction, and for Energy Resources, the resource shall have a FERC-jurisdictional interconnection agreement or wholesale market participation agreement within PJM. Purchasing all or a portion of the output of a generation resource shall not be sufficient to qualify a Member as a Generation Owner. For purposes of Members Committee sector classification, a Member that is primarily a retail end- user of electricity that owns generation may qualify as a Generation Owner if: (1) the generation resource is the subject of a FERC-jurisdictional interconnection agreement or wholesale market participation agreement within PJM; (2) the average physical unforced capacity owned by the Member and its affiliates over the five Planning Periods immediately preceding the relevant Planning Period exceeds the average PJM capacity obligation of the Member and its affiliates over the same time period; and (3) the average energy produced by the Member and its affiliates within PJM over the five Planning Periods immediately preceding the relevant Planning Period exceeds the average energy consumed by the Member and its affiliates within PJM over the same time period.
