Committed Data Rate definition

Committed Data Rate means the minimum data rate committed by Customer and set forth in the Customer Order (expressed in Megabits per second (Mbps)).
Committed Data Rate means Customer’s agreement to pay for a minimum amount of bandwidth per month (expressed in Megabits per second (Mbps)), as set forth in a Work Order, in connection with its License of Customer Space.
Committed Data Rate or “CDR” means the bandwidth usage included within the fixed fee per month, measured using the 95th percentile;

Examples of Committed Data Rate in a sentence

  • If the ninetieth percentile of either inbound or outbound traffic is higher than the Committed Data Rate, Customer will, in addition to being billed for its Committed Data Rate, be billed for its utilization of the Service that exceeds their Committed Data Rate, which shall be billed at the contracted-for price per Mbps.

  • It is mutually understood that customers who order fixed Committed Data Rates (not Burstable), may necessarily suffer packet losses should volume exceed the fixed Committed Data Rate ordered, and customers who purchase Burstable bandwidth may necessarily suffer packet losses should volume exceed the Burstable access ordered.

  • The highest of the resulting ninetieth percentile for inbound and outbound traffic will be compared to the Committed Data Rate.

  • To the extent Customer orders any service designated as "Burstable," the following billing method shall apply: Customer will be billed as set forth above for its Committed Data Rate.

  • Customer acknowledges that incremental usage in excess of the Committed Data Rate is subject to available bandwidth on the QTS network.


More Definitions of Committed Data Rate

Committed Data Rate means the minimum data rate committed by Customer and set forth in the Service Order. The Rate will be expressed in Megabits per second (Mbps).
Committed Data Rate means the constant rate specified in the Purchase Order up to which Interoute agrees to transmit the Customer’s IP Traffic.
Committed Data Rate means the minimum data rate committed by Customer for usage charges associated with (3)FlexSM Service across Level 3's inter-city network (billed in accordance with Section 5(A) below), as set forth in the Customer Order (and expressed in Mbps).
