Common Use Gates definition

Common Use Gates means the space in the Terminal designated by the Managing Director to be used in common with other Airlines for passenger holdrooms and gate areas and does not include any Preferential Use Gates.
Common Use Gates means any Port controlled gates, excepting gates associated with Non-Preferential Ground Load Holdrooms, not assigned by the Port as Preferential Space to any Air Carrier, and which the Port reserves for the flexible and temporary use of any Air Carrier serving the Airport. Common Use Gates include all equipment and utilities necessary to operate from the gates, including loading bridges, ground power units, and potable water supply.
Common Use Gates means the Gates designated by the City in accordance with Article 4 of the AUA to be used in common by Air Carriers operating at the Airport, and shall not be deemed to include Preferential Use Gates.

Examples of Common Use Gates in a sentence

  • A Tech Stop is defined as an aircraft arriving on a Common Use Gates for purposes of fueling in route during a weather or aircraft maintenance divert from a primary airport (“Tech Stop”).

  • SLCDA will exercise reasonable effort to accommodate airline requests for Common Use Gates during such irregular operations as long as previously determined gate use allocations and approvals will not be affected.

  • The Committee shall review and make recommendations to the Port about the numbers of Gates to be reserved for use as Common Use Gates during any Fiscal Year and about the locations within the Terminal of Common Use Gates and Preferential Use Gates.

  • These policies and procedures are intended to maximize the efficient use of Common Use Gates, hardstand positions, and remain overnight (RON) facilities, while also endeavoring to treat all airlines that serve or may serve SLC equitably.

  • SLCDA’s Airport Operations Division shall manage the scheduling and approval of designated Common Use Gates, hardstand positions, and RON facilities for scheduled and non-scheduled flight operations by all carriers in the best interests of airport operations.

  • Any requests for Common Use Gates later than ten (10) calendar days of operation will be handled as a Non-Allocated Request.

  • The Port shall retain exclusive control of the use of all Common Use Gates.

  • It is imperative that SLCDA and all air carriers have effective and timely communication to ensure maximum usage at Common Use Gates, especially during irregular operations, delays, etc.

Common Use Gates means the Gates designated by the Director to be used in common with other Air Carriers.

  • Common Channel Signaling (CCS means an out-of-band, packet-switched, signaling network used to transport supervision signals, control signals, and data messages. It is a special network, fully separate from the transmission path of the public switched network. Unless otherwise agreed by the Parties, the CCS protocol used by the Parties shall be SS7.

  • Energy Use Intensity (EUI means the kBTUs (1,000 British Thermal Units) used per square foot of gross floor area.

  • Small municipal separate storm sewer system or "small MS4" means all separate storm sewers that are (i) owned or operated by the United States, a state, city, town, borough, county, parish, district, association, or other public body (created by or pursuant to state law) having jurisdiction over disposal of sewage, industrial wastes, stormwater, or other wastes, including special districts under state law such as a sewer district, flood control district or drainage district, or similar entity, or an Indian tribe or an authorized Indian tribal organization, or a designated and approved management agency under § 208 of the CWA that discharges to surface waters and (ii) not defined as "large" or "medium" municipal separate storm sewer systems or designated under 4VAC50-60-380 A 1. This term includes systems similar to separate storm sewer systems in municipalities, such as systems at military bases, large hospital or prison complexes, and highway and other thoroughfares. The term does not include separate storm sewers in very discrete areas, such as individual buildings.

  • Non-Administrator Substance Use Disorder Treatment Facility means a Substance Use Disorder Treatment Facility that does not meet the definition of an Administrator Substance Use Disorder Treatment Facility.

  • Native vegetation means plant species that are indigenous to the region.

  • Natural channel design concepts means the utilization of engineering analysis and fluvial geomorphic processes to create, rehabilitate, restore, or stabilize an open conveyance system for the purpose of creating or recreating a stream that conveys its bankfull storm event within its banks and allows larger flows to access its bankfull bench and its floodplain.

  • Nontransient noncommunity water system means a public water system that is not a community water system and that regularly serves at least the same 25 persons over 6 months per year.

  • Network Area means the 50 mile radius around the local school campus the Named Insured is attending.

  • Secondary Systems means control or power circuits that operate below 600 volts, AC or DC, including, but not limited to, any hardware, control or protective devices, cables, conductors, electric raceways, secondary equipment panels, transducers, batteries, chargers, and voltage and current transformers.

  • Non-Use Fee shall have the meaning assigned to it in Section 1.9(b).

  • Combined distribution system means the interconnected distribution system consisting of the distribution systems of wholesale systems and of the consecutive systems that receive finished water.

  • Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System Management Program means a management program covering the duration of a state permit for a municipal separate storm sewer system that includes a comprehensive planning process that involves public participation and intergovernmental coordination, to reduce the discharge of pollutants to the maximum extent practicable, to protect water quality, and to satisfy the appropriate water quality requirements of the CWA and regulations, and this article and its attendant regulations, using management practices, control techniques, and system, design, and engineering methods, and such other provisions that are appropriate.

  • Private Cloud System (PCS) A cloud infrastructure provisioned for exclusive use by a single organization comprising multiple consumers (e.g., business units). It may be owned, managed, and operated by the Requester, a third party, or some combination of them, and it may exist on or off premises.

  • Transient non-community water system or “transient non-CWS” means a non- CWS that does not regularly serve at least 25 of the same persons over six months of the year.

  • Public garage means a building or other place where vehicles or vessels are kept and stored and where a charge is made for the storage and keeping of vehicles and vessels.

  • Restricted use pesticide means any pesticide or device which, when used as directed or in accordance with a widespread and commonly recognized practice, the director determines, subsequent to a hearing, requires additional restrictions for that use to prevent unreasonable adverse effects on the environment including people, lands, beneficial insects, animals, crops, and wildlife, other than pests.

  • Production, Use or Storage of Nuclear Material means the production, manufacture, enrichment, conditioning, processing, reprocessing, use, storage, handling and disposal of Nuclear Material.
