Company Sick Pay definition

Company Sick Pay has the meaning given in clause 18.4;
Company Sick Pay. The Company operates a Company Sick Pay Scheme for the benefit of its employees which is in addition to Statutory Sick Pay entitlement. All payments made under this company scheme are at the sole discretion of the Company. Please refer to the Company Sickness Absence Policy which outlines the circumstances in which Company sick pay may be withheld. Service with Avon Entitlement 1-2 year 8 weeks
Company Sick Pay means any sick pay paid in accordance with clause 11.3 (Sickness).

Examples of Company Sick Pay in a sentence

  • Company Sick Pay will be paid subject to such deductions required by law and subject to deductions to reflect any other sickness benefits received by the Executive for the period of Company Sick Pay.

  • The Company may discontinue payment of any Company Sick Pay if the Executive fails to return to work immediately after a GP or other medical practitioners who has examined him states that he is fit to return to work.

  • Employees will not be eligible for benefits under the Company Sick Pay Plan for any period for which they are entitled to receive Employment Insurance Sickness Benefits.

  • The Executive is not eligible to be paid Company Sick Pay in respect of absence: (a) during any probationary period; (b) after the Executive has given or received notice to terminate the Employment, or (c) while the Executive is the subject of any disciplinary proceedings (including but not limited to during any investigation into any complaint or allegation against the Executive and through completion of any disciplinary hearings).

  • The Company Sick Pay Entitlement is the maximum amount of Company Sick Pay which will be paid in aggregate in any rolling 12 month period.

  • If eligibility for Company Sick Pay expires, the Executive will not be eligible for any further discretionary annual bonus or long term incentive scheme(s) award until the Executive returns to work in accordance with clause 7.4.

  • Company Sick Pay is also subject to the Executive’s compliance with this Agreement and will not be paid in respect of any period of illness that commences during the first 6 months of the Executive’s employment or whilst the Company is addressing performance or disciplinary issues.

  • The Company may, at its sole discretion, offer to pay additional Company Sick Pay.

  • Company Sick Pay will include any entitlement to statutory sick pay or any benefits provided by virtue of any permanent health insurance scheme.

  • Company Sick Pay will be based on the Executive’s normal salary less any State benefits claimable by the Executive on account of his sickness or injury, less normal deductions.
