The dollar amount of an individual teacher's increase in salary will be based on the number of Compensation Units (CUs) the teacher earns.
Where classes are taught by independent study, the faculty member shall be paid on the basis of the Moonlight pay or appropriate Adjunct Step A FCU Rate divided by 10 times the number of students times Faculty Compensation Units, provided that such calculations shall not exceed the amount derived from the Adjunct Faculty Salary Schedule Faculty Compensation Rate.
By means of example and not limitation, if the Licensee elects to convert to a corporation pursuant to Section 4.16 of the Operating Agreement, the Compensation Units shall be determined and valued based on the new security ("New Shares") received by Licensee’s Common Shareholders.
