Competing Platform definition

Competing Platform means any commercially available Software Platform that competes with the PS OS Software, including without limitation the Windows Mobile and Symbian Software Platforms.
Competing Platform means any commercially available Platform that competes with the PalmSource OS Platform, including the PocketPC and Symbian Platforms.
Competing Platform means any Technology, other than the Apple Technology, that enables the use of a card or other access credential for the purposes of accessing a physical location, service, or conducting a payment transaction on personal electronic devices. For clarity, Access Partner’s existing Credential Technology using non-NFC technology will not be deemed a Competing Platform.

Examples of Competing Platform in a sentence

  • If IPTV Operator merges with, acquires or is acquired by a Competing Platform and the Zee Group Channel(s) are carried on Platform and the Competing Platform, then the Subscription Fee payable by the combined entity / platform would be in accordance with the respective agreements of ZEEL, with the platform and competing platform prior to such merger, till a fresh agreement is entered into with ZEEL for the combined entity.

  • If MSO merges with, acquires or is acquired by a Competing Platform and the Zee Group Channel(s) are carried on Platform and the Competing Platform, then the Subscription Fee payable by the combined entity / platform would be in accordance with the respective agreements of ZEEL, with the platform and competing platform prior to such merger, till a fresh agreement is entered into with ZEEL for the combined entity.

  • If DTH Operator merges with, acquires or is acquired by a Competing Platform and the Zee Group Channel(s) are carried on Platform and the Competing Platform, then the Subscription Fee payable by the combined entity / platform would be in accordance with the respective agreements of ZEEL, with the platform and competing platform prior to such merger, till a fresh agreement is entered into with ZEEL for the combined entity.

  • If HITS Operator merges with, acquires or is acquired by a Competing Platform and the Zee Group Channel(s) are carried on Platform and the Competing Platform, then the Subscription Fee payable by the combined entity / platform would be in accordance with the respective agreements of ZEEL, with the platform and competing platform prior to such merger, till a fresh agreement is entered into with ZEEL for the combined entity.

  • If DPO/ OPERATOR merges with, acquires or is acquired by a Competing Platform and the ZMCL Channel(s) are carried on Platform and the Competing Platform, then the Subscription Fee payable by the combined entity / platform would be in accordance with the respective agreements of ZMCL, with the platform and competing platform prior to such merger, till a fresh agreement is entered into with ZMCL for the combined entity.

  • If IPTV Operator merges with, acquires or is acquired by a Competing Platform and the ZMCL Channel(s) are carried on Platform and the Competing Platform, then the Subscription Fee payable by the combined entity / platform would be in accordance with the respective agreements of ZMCL, with the platform and competing platform prior to such merger, till a fresh agreement is entered into with ZMCL for the combined entity.

  • If MSO merges with, acquires or is acquired by a Competing Platform and the ZMCL Channel(s) are carried on Platform and the Competing Platform, then the Subscription Fee payable by the combined entity / platform would be in accordance with the respective agreements of ZMCL, with the platform and competing platform prior to such merger, till a fresh agreement is entered into with ZMCL for the combined entity.

  • If DTH Operator merges with, acquires or is acquired by a Competing Platform and the ZMCL Channel(s) are carried on Platform and the Competing Platform, then the Subscription Fee payable by the combined entity / platform would be in accordance with the respective agreements of ZMCL, with the platform and competing platform prior to such merger, till a fresh agreement is entered into with ZMCL for the combined entity.

  • Access Partner will use best efforts to work with Participating Providers and other mobile wallet providers to avoid the release of any Competing Platform marketing materials within thirty (30) days of an Apple Initiative.

  • Except for general informational statements about the use of Credentials on any software, other than the Apple Pay Technology, that enables the use of a card or other access credential for the purposes of accessing a physical location or conducting a payment transaction on personal electronic devices ("Competing Platforms"), in no event will Customer promote or advertise the launch of the Mobile Credential Service for iOS-based devices with a Competing Platform without Apple’s prior written consent.


More Definitions of Competing Platform

Competing Platform has the meaning set out in clause 26.1(A) (Covenants);
Competing Platform means a multilateral, fee-for-transaction electronic trading platform for products that include Specified Products, other than a platform owned and/or operated by Enron, Sponsor, or their respective Affiliates.
Competing Platform a DTH satellite system (other than Sky Brasil) for the distribution of subscription programming services directly to any subscriber in Brazil (whether residential, non-residential or otherwise).
