Conservator of the person definition

Conservator of the person means a person appointed by the court pursuant to sections 45a-644 to 45a-663, inclusive, of the general statutes to make decisions regarding the support, care, education, health and welfare of an adult individual and includes a conservator of the person of an adult, but does not include a guardian ad litem.

Conservator of the person means (A) a conservator of the person, as defined in section 45a-644 of the general statutes, as amended by this act, or (B) a person, except a hospital or nursing home facility, appointed by a court outside of this state to make decisions regarding the person of an adult.

  • Conservator means a person who is appointed by a court to manage the estate of a protected person.

  • Insolvency Act means the Insolvency Act, 1936 (Act No. 24 of 1936);
