Consumer Grievances Redressal Forum definition

Consumer Grievances Redressal Forum means the forum for redressal of grievance of Consumers, established under sub-section 5 of section 42 of the Act.
Consumer Grievances Redressal Forum or “CGRF” or “Forum” means the forum for redressal of grievances of electricity consumers, established by a Distribution Licencee pursuant to Section 42(5) of the Act and these Regulations;

  • If consumer is not found satisfied at the IGR Cell of the concerned department, he may approach to Consumer Grievances Redressal Forum (CGRF) for their redressal of grievances.

  • Issue No. 11: Working of Consumer Grievances Redressal ForumInformation was sought on the working of the Consumer Grievances Redressal Forum at different places.

  • Provided that in case the claim for compensation is upheld by the Consumer Grievances Redressal Forum, the compensation determined by the Commission in Schedule-I to these Regulations will be implemented by the Forum or by the Ombudsman, in case of an appeal filed against order of the Forum before him and is to be paid by the concerned Distribution Licensee.

  • In case of any dispute in billing, the consumer can approach the Consumer Grievances Redressal Forum / Electricity Ombudsman in accordance with the relevant Regulations notified by the Commission.

  • Consumer Grievances Redressal Forum (CGRF) established by the Distribution Licensee is also functioning since 2006 with headquarters at Patiala.

  • Complaints Procedure means the School's procedure for handling complaints from parents, as amended from time to time for legal or other substantive reasons, or in order to assist the proper administration of the School. Such grievances must be dealt with at successive stages of the Grievance Procedure commencing with Step 1. The grievors shall be listed on the grievance form.

  • Labor dispute as used here, means a strike, lockout, or other labor dispute between the Employer and its Employees, during which time the Employee is not paid by the Employer.

  • Criminal justice agency means (i) a court or any other governmental agency or subunit thereof

  • Criminal proceeding means a proceeding instituted by means of the swearing of an information, the laying of a charge or the return of an indictment, before a Court of competent jurisdiction in Canada with jurisdiction to hear and determine the charges referred to therein, alleging or charging that the "Insured" has contravened the provisions of any Provincial or Federal statute, including the Criminal Code, R.S.C. 1985 ch. C-46 as amended, which creates an offence or crime and which provides for conviction thereunder, whether by way of summary conviction or indictment, and as a result of which the "Insured" is liable to be convicted, fined or sentenced to some form of imprisonment or other punishment.

  • Complaints means each of the following documents:

  • Violent juvenile felony means any of the delinquent acts enumerated in subsection B or C of

  • criminal proceedings means criminal proceedings in relation to which the strict rules of evidence apply;

  • Ordering and Billing Forum or "OBF" means the telecommunications industry forum, under the auspices of the Carrier Liaison Committee of the Alliance for Telecommunications Industry Solutions, concerned with inter-company ordering and Billing. "Originating Line Information Parameter" or "OLIP" is a CCS SS7 signaling parameter that identifies the line class of service, i.e., originating screening and routing translation. "P.01 Transmission Grade of Service" means a circuit switched trunk facility Provisioning standard with the statistical probability of no more than one (1) call in one hundred (100) blocked on initial attempt during the average busy hour.

  • Violent felony means any offense that, if committed by an adult, would constitute a felony and:
