Continuing appointment definition

Continuing appointment means the right of a unit member to continued employment without removal except as provided for in Article 8, Termination, or Article 9, Xxxxxx and Recall, or by resignation or retirement.
Continuing appointment for academic librarians and instructors shall mean a full-time academic appointment given independent of rank which may be terminated as provided in this Agreement.
Continuing appointment is an appointment to a full- or part-time position that is identified as “continuing” in the employment letter from Human Resources and for which no end date is stated in the employment letter.

Continuing appointment means an academic appointment without term that may only be terminated by resignation, retirement, death, or in accordance with the terms of this Agreement;
