Continuous Recruitment definition

Continuous Recruitment means a type of recruitment declared when either a position is difficult to fill due to the job market, when there is an anticipated need for recurring eligibles, when there are a number of vacancies available simultaneously, or when there is a specialty area required that is difficult to recruit for. The testing and/or interview process during continuous recruitment is ongoing. Names of eligible candidates may be added to and removed from the Eligibility List on an on- going basis in order to fill vacancies in a timely manner.
Continuous Recruitment means an open-competitive examination which is administered periodically, as need arises, and as a result of which names are placed on an open employment list.
Continuous Recruitment means the practice of soliciting additional qualified contractors during the term of the contract to be included for participation.

Examples of Continuous Recruitment in a sentence

  • Under the Continuous Recruitment of Contractors concept (once the initial bidding process is completed and the initial round of Contracts are awarded) a Bidder will be provided with a Solicitation and allowed to complete and submit a full Bid proposal.

  • OGS may post a notice in the Contract Reporter to commence the Continuous Recruitment process.

  • There is no guarantee of any level of purchasing activity on behalf of the State to any vendor or vendors listed on the Continuous Recruitment.

  • NOTE: The following example is for illustration purposes only and may not be a true reflection of the Member’s actual Copayments, Deductible Amounts and Coinsurances.

  • There will be a Continuous Recruitment period for up to one (1) year following the initial award of Contracts resulting from this Solicitation.

  • Continuous Recruitment: Recruitment under which applications are received continuously after announcement has been made to that effect until a sufficient number of applications has been received or the position has been filled.

  • For Contracts that are awarded under Continuous Recruitment, the Contract Term will commence upon execution of the Contract by OGS as evidenced by the date accompanying the OGS signature line.

  • Once a Contractor has been awarded a Contract, they must remain there under the terms of their initial bid and will not be allowed to submit a new Bid under the Continuous Recruitment of Contractors provision.For Contracts that are awarded under Continuous Recruitment, the Contract Term will commence upon execution of the Contract by OGS as evidenced by the date accompanying the OGS signature line.

  • After the initial period of Continuous Recruitment, there may be subsequent Periodic Recruitments as OGS deems necessary during the remainder of the Contract Term.

  • Interested offerors must submit proposals to provide the services covered by this ongoing Continuous Recruitment on or before the date and time listed on the cover page of this solicitation for the initial submission or by the end of each calendar quarter for subsequent submissions as long as the CR period is still open.

  • Continuous emissions monitoring system or “CEMS” means all of the equipment that may be required to meet the data acquisition and availability requirements of this chapter, to sample, to condition (if applicable), to analyze, and to provide a record of emissions on a continuous basis.

  • Continuous emission monitoring system or "CEMS" means the equipment required under section 11 of this rule to sample, analyze, measure, and provide, by means of readings recorded at least once every fifteen (15) minutes, using an automated data acquisition and handling system (DAHS), a permanent record of nitrogen oxides emissions, stack gas volumetric flow rate, stack gas moisture content, and oxygen or carbon dioxide concentration, as applicable, in a manner consistent with 40 CFR 75*. The following systems are the principal types of continuous emission monitoring systems required under section 11 of this rule:

  • Continuous parameter monitoring system or "CPMS" means all of the equipment necessary to meet the data acquisition and availability requirements of this chapter, to monitor process and control device operational parameters (for example, control device secondary voltages and electric currents) and other information (for example, gas flow rate, oxygen or carbon dioxide concentrations), and to record average operational parameter value on a continuous basis.

  • Continuous emissions rate monitoring system or “CERMS” means the total equipment required for the determination and recording of the pollutant mass emissions rate (in terms of mass per unit of time).

  • Continuous Service means that the Participant’s service with the Company or an Affiliate, whether as an Employee, Director or Consultant, is not interrupted or terminated. A change in the capacity in which the Participant renders service to the Company or an Affiliate as an Employee, Consultant or Director or a change in the entity for which the Participant renders such service, provided that there is no interruption or termination of the Participant’s service with the Company or an Affiliate, will not terminate a Participant’s Continuous Service; provided, however, that if the Entity for which a Participant is rendering services ceases to qualify as an Affiliate, as determined by the Board, in its sole discretion, such Participant’s Continuous Service will be considered to have terminated on the date such Entity ceases to qualify as an Affiliate. To the extent permitted by law, the Board or the chief executive officer of the Company, in that party’s sole discretion, may determine whether Continuous Service will be considered interrupted in the case of (i) any leave of absence approved by the Board or chief executive officer, including sick leave, military leave or any other personal leave, or (ii) transfers between the Company, an Affiliate, or their successors. Notwithstanding the foregoing, a leave of absence will be treated as Continuous Service for purposes of vesting in an Award only to such extent as may be provided in the Company’s leave of absence policy, in the written terms of any leave of absence agreement or policy applicable to the Participant, or as otherwise required by law.
