Corrective action means action taken to eliminate the cause of a potential or real non- conformity or other undesirable situation;
Corrective Action Plan has the meaning set forth in Section II.A.2.
Administrative Action has the meaning set forth in paragraph 4(a) of Annex I.
Affirmative Action Plan means the Affirmative Action Plan for school and classroom practices adopted by the Board.
Legislative action means the development, drafting, introduction, consideration, modification, adoption, rejection, review, enactment or defeat of any bill, resolution, amendment, report, nomination, proposed administrative rule or other matter by the legislature or by either house or any committee, subcom- mittee, joint or select committee thereof, or by a legislator or employee of the legislature acting in an official capacity. “Legis- lative action” also means the action of the governor in approving or vetoing any bill or portion thereof, and the action of the gover- nor or any agency in the development of a proposal for introduc- tion in the legislature.
Prohibited Action means an action of the Client as defined under paragraph 10.1 of this Client Agreement. A Prohibited Action constitutes an event of Default giving the Company the right to take action under paragraph 14.2 of this Client Agreement.
Affirmative action means action appropriate to overcome the effects of past or present practices, policies, or other barriers to equal employment opportunity.

Derivative Action means any Action brought by or in the right of the Corporation and/or an Affiliate.
Adverse employment action means an action that affects an em- ployee ’s compensation, promotion, transfer, work assignment, or performance evaluation, or any other employment action that would dissuade a reasonable employee from making or supporting a report of abuse or neglect under Family Code 261.101.
Adverse action means a home or remote state action.
Gross alpha particle activity means the total radioactivity due to alpha particle emission as inferred from measurements on a dry sample.
Remedial Action Plan has the meaning in Section 2.4.
Claims Process means the process for Settlement Class Members’ submission of Claims, as described in Section III.
Contingent Emergency Response Part means any activity or activities to be carried out under Part 4 of the Project to respond to an Eligible Crisis or Emergency.
School-Sponsored Activity means any activity conducted on or off school property (including school buses and other school-related vehicles) that is sponsored, recognized or authorized by the Board of Education.
Resettlement Action Plan or “RAP”, means a plan approved by the Association, to be prepared in accordance with the provisions of the RPF, setting forth principles and procedures governing land acquisition or other associated Project impacts, resettlement and compensation of Affected Persons, as well as reporting and monitoring arrangements to ensure compliance with the said plan, as the same may be amended from time to time with the agreement of the Association, and “Resettlement Action Plans” or “RAPs” shall mean such Resettlement Action Plans, collectively.

Criminal sexual activity means the commission of an act as defined in Section 886 of Title 21 of the Oklahoma Statutes, which is the act of sodomy; and
Hazardous Materials Claims means any enforcement, cleanup, removal or other governmental or regulatory action or order with respect to the Property, pursuant to any Hazardous Materials Laws, and/or any claim asserted in writing by any third party relating to damage, contribution, cost recovery compensation, loss or injury resulting from any Hazardous Materials.
Remediation Period has the meaning specified in Section 8.2(a);
Complaint Investigation means an investigation of any complaint that has been made to a proper authority that is not covered by an abuse investigation.
environmental emergency means any situation that has caused or may cause serious harm to human health or damage to the environment, irrespective of whether the potential for harm or damage is immediate or delayed;
Remediation waste means all solid and hazardous wastes, and all media (including groundwater, surface water, soils, and sediments) and debris that are managed for implementing cleanup.
Remedial investigation means a process to determine the nature and extent of a discharge of a contaminant at a site or a discharge of a contaminant that has migrated or is migrating from the site and the problems presented by a discharge, and may include data collected, site characterization, sampling, monitoring, and the gathering of any other sufficient and relevant information necessary to determine the necessity for remedial action and to support the evaluation of remedial actions if necessary;
Adverse reaction means an unexpected outcome that threatens the health or safety of a patient as a result of a medical service, nursing service, or health-related service provided to the patient.
