Course Rules. Buffalo Grove Golf Course has guidelines to help keep the course safe and to help keep the operation running efficiently for all our patrons. In the past, we have noticed a few basic guidelines violated frequently, thus creating the list of course rules below that we would like you to help with:  Do not practice putt or chip on the 18th green prior to play.  Play holes in order, do not jump around without permission from a ranger or staff member.  If you have an issue with another group while on the course, please signal the ranger or contact the pro shop for assistance.  Only hit range balls purchased from the Buffalo Grove Golf Course from the designated tee area on the range.  Picking up range balls from the 10th or 18th fairway for later use is prohibited and is considered theft.  No outside alcohol permitted on the premises.  Do not spend more than 5 minutes looking for a lost ball in the water or rough.  All players must check in at the golf shop prior to play and have a valid receipt for the starter.  Pace program will be in effect—keep pace with the group in front of yours. Expected pace varies on the time you tee off.  Please be early for your tee time. If you miss your tee time for whatever reason, you will be rescheduled at the next available tee time, there is no guarantee that you will be next on the tee if you come late.  No five-some’s are allowed on the course. Groups arriving with 5 players will be split into two groups. If players do not stay with those assigned arrangements and reform back to a five-some, all five players will be asked to leave. In order to execute the agreement properly, we have put into place the following warning system.
