Credit Event Settlement Date definition

Credit Event Settlement Date means, in respect of a Security and with respect to an Event Determination Date, the later of the date falling (a) five Business Days following the Issue Date and (b) 10 Business Days after the date on which the Auction Final Price is determined (or where the Credit Event Settlement Amount is determined by reference to a Final Price, the date on which the Final Price is determined);
Credit Event Settlement Date means, in respect of a Credit Event Redemption, the earlier of (x) the 15th Reference Business Day following the relevant Credit Event Trigger Date that relates to such redemption and (y) the fifth Reference Business Day following the date on which the relevant portion of Collateral of that Series relating to such Credit Event Redemption has been Liquidated in full. For the avoidance of doubt, the Credit Event Settlement Date may occur after the Scheduled Maturity Date, in which case each Note shall not be redeemed until the Credit Event Settlement Date.

Examples of Credit Event Settlement Date in a sentence

  • The Credit Event Settlement Date may be prior to the Scheduled Maturity Date of the Notes.

  • On the Credit Event Settlement Date, the Issuer shall pay to the Securityholders the Credit Event Settlement Amount related to each Security.
