Criminal history information definition

Criminal history information means information collected about a person by a criminal justice agency that consists of identifiable descriptions and notations of arrests, detentions, indictments, information and other formal criminal charges and their dispositions. The term does not include information as to convictions, fingerprint information, and driving records. In the event the Department provides the Contractor with criminal history information, the Contractor agrees to comply with the confidentiality requirements of 28 CFR 20.21; 42 U.S.C. 3711, et seq., as amended; Texas Government Code, Section 411.083, and with the FBI Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy.
