Cultural Competency Plan definition

Cultural Competency Plan. Shall have the meaning ascribed to such term in Section 6.10.1 of this Contract.
Cultural Competency Plan means a plan that that ensures Covered Services are provided to Members in a manner that takes into account, but is not limited to: developmental disabilities, physical disabilities, differential abilities, cultural and ethnic backgrounds and limited English proficiency.
Cultural Competency Plan means a plan that ensures Members receive Covered Services utilizing methods to promote access and delivery of Covered Services in a culturally competent manner including, but not limited to, those with limited English proficiency, diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds, disabilities, and regardless of gender, sexual orientation, or gender identity. These methods must ensure that Member have access to Covered Services that are delivered in a manner that meets each Member’s unique needs.

Examples of Cultural Competency Plan in a sentence

  • CONTRACTOR must participate in the implementation of the most recent Cultural Competency Plan for the COUNTY and shall adhere to all cultural competency standards and requirements.

  • Cultural Competency means the ability to recognize, respect, and address the unique needs, worth, thoughts, communications, actions, customs, beliefs and values that reflect an individual’s racial, ethnic, religious, sexual orientation, and/or social group.

  • Emergency plan means a document outlining the responsibilities of personnel in an emergency.

  • Case permanency plan means the Agency plan identifying goals, needs, strengths, problems, services, time frames for meeting goals and for delivery of the services to the child and parents, objectives, desired outcomes, and responsibilities of all parties involved and reviewing progress.
