Cultural Competency means the ability to recognize, respect, and address the unique needs, worth, thoughts, communications, actions, customs, beliefs and values that reflect an individual’s racial, ethnic, religious, sexual orientation, and/or social group.
Permanency plan means a written course of action for achieving safe and lasting family resources for the child or young adult. Although the plan may change as more information becomes available, the goal is to develop safe and permanent family resources with the parents, relatives, or other people who will assume responsibility for the child or young adult during the remaining years of dependency and be accessible and supportive to the child or young adult in adulthood.
Cultural Competence or "culturally competent" means the ability to recognize and respond to health-related beliefs and cultur- al values, disease incidence and prevalence, and treatment efficacy. Examples of culturally competent care include striving to overcome cultural, language, and communications barriers, providing an environ- ment in which individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds feel com- fortable discussing their cultural health beliefs and practices in the context of negotiating treatment options, encouraging individuals to express their spiritual beliefs and cultural practices, and being fa- miliar with and respectful of various traditional healing systems and beliefs and, where appropriate, integrating these approaches into treatment plans.
Emergency plan means a document outlining the responsibilities of personnel in an emergency.
Case permanency plan means the Agency plan identifying goals, needs, strengths, problems, services, time frames for meeting goals and for delivery of the services to the child and parents, objectives, desired outcomes, and responsibilities of all parties involved and reviewing progress.
Health and Safety Plan means a documented plan which addresses hazards identified and includes safe work procedures to mitigate, reduce or control the hazards identified;
Spatial Planning and Land Use Management Act means the Spatial Planning and Land Use Management Act, 2013 (Act 16 of 2013);
Chemical dependency professional means a person certified as a chemical dependency professional by the department of health under chapter 18.205 RCW.
health and safety file means a file, or other record containing the information in writing required by these Regulations "health and safety plan" means a site, activity or project specific documented plan in accordance with the client's health and safety specification;
Health and Safety means, in relation to a recipient or a third person, the prevention of death or serious personal injury;
Cultural resources means archaeological and historic sites and artifacts, and traditional religious, ceremonial and social uses and activities of affected Indian tribes.
Disaster Management Act means the Disaster Management Act, 2002 (Act No.57 of 2002)
Contingency plan means a document setting out an organized, planned, and coordinated course of action to be followed in case of a fire, explosion, or release of hazardous waste or hazardous waste constituents which could threaten human health or the environment.
Health and Safety Laws means all applicable laws, statutes, regulations, subordinate legislation, bye-laws, common law and other national, international, federal, European Union, state and local laws, judgments, decisions and injunctions of any court or tribunal, and codes of practice and/or guidance notes issued by any applicable government body or authority, public body, trade union, works council, or industry or regional sector authority to the extent that they relate to or apply to the health and safety of any person, including (but not limited to) any such requirements and obligations concerning Covid-19.
Basic Conditions of Employment Act means the Basic Conditions of Employment Act, 1997 (Act No. 75 of 1997);
Occupational Health and Safety Act means the Occupational Health and Safety Act, 1993 (Act No 85 of 1993);
health and safety specification means a site, activity or project specific document prepared by the client pertaining to all health and safety requirements related to construction work;
Basic health plan means the plan described under chapter
Community Accountability Planning Submission means the HSP Board approved planning document submitted by the HSP to the Funder. The form, content and scheduling of the Planning Submission will be identified by the Funder;
Cultural means relating to the habits, practices, beliefs, and traditions of a certain group of people.
polygamous marriage means any marriage to which paragraph 5 applies;
Privacy Commissioner means the person occupying the position of Privacy Commissioner from time to time pursuant to the Privacy Xxx 0000.
Emergency Response Plan means the plan constituting the set of procedures developed by the Owner for dealing with an Incident which may impact on the Network or Connecting Infrastructure, including all actions to be taken to minimise or alleviate any threat or danger to any person or property:
National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) means the national program for issuing, modifying, revoking and reissuing, terminating, monitoring, and enforcing permits and imposing and enforcing pretreatment requirements, under Sections 307, 318, 402, and 405 of CWA. The term includes an approved program.
Violent crime means a forcible felony, as defined in Iowa Code section 702.11, and includes any other felony or aggravated misdemeanor which involved the actual or threatened infliction of physical or emotional injury on one or more persons.
National Contingency Plan or “NCP” shall mean the National Oil and Hazardous Substances Pollution Contingency Plan promulgated pursuant to Section 105 of CERCLA, 42 U.S.C. § 9605, codified at 40 C.F.R. Part 300, and any amendments thereto.
