Cyber Extortion Costs definition

Cyber Extortion Costs means the reimbursement of reasonable fees, costs and expenses incurred by the Insured, or paid on the Insured’s behalf, with the prior written consent of the Insurer, such consent not to be unreasonably withheld, to terminate or mitigate any credible threat of a Business Interruption Event, Data Liability Event or Network Security Event resulting from an actual or attempted extortion by a third party.

Cyber Extortion Costs means the reasonable and necessary expenses incurred by the Named Insured, with the Company’s prior written consent, to respond to a Cyber Extortion Threat, including Crisis Management Costs or costs of a third party security consultant to prevent or terminate the threat. Cyber Extortion Costs do not include salaries, wages, fees, compensation, overhead or benefit expenses accruing to any Insured.

Examples of Cyber Extortion Costs in a sentence

  • The Insurer will reimburse, or pay on behalf of, the Insured for Cyber Extortion Costs, resulting from a Cyber Extortion Threat that is Discovered during the Policy Period.

  • Such Retentions shall be satisfied by monetary payments by the Named Insured of the Breach Response Costs, Cyber Extortion Costs, Data Recovery Costs, Business Interruption Loss, and Dependent Business Interruption Loss.

Related to Cyber Extortion Costs

  • Transaction Costs means all fees, costs and expenses incurred or payable by Holdings, the Borrower or any other Subsidiary in connection with the Transactions.

The term “Construction Costs” includes all Contractor’s costs associated with preparing or generating additional copies of any Construction Documents, as defined below, related to or required for the Project, including preparation or generation of additional Plans and/or Specifications for Contractor’s Subcontractors. In no event shall Construction Costs exceed the Guaranteed Maximum Price.

Relocation costs do not include costs for structural or capital improve- ments or items purchased in connection with the relocation.

  • Avoided costs means the incremental costs to an electric utility of electric energy or capacity or both which, but for the purchase from the qualifying facility or qualifying facilities, such utility would generate itself or purchase from another source.

  • Wholesale acquisition cost means the same as that term is defined in 42 U.S.C. Sec. 1395w-3a.

  • Reimbursable Costs means expenses incurred by the employee in the course of engaging in the planned learning activity and include registration, tuition and examination fees as well as textbooks/discs and applicable taxes. They may also include reasonable, incremental meal, accommodation and travel expenses.

  • Cleanup costs means expenses (including but not limited to legal and professional fees) incurred in testing for, monitoring, cleaning up, removing, containing, treating, neutralizing, detoxifying or assessing the effects of Pollutants.
