If the Contractor fails to Complete the Works in accordance with the Contract so that the Date of Completion of the Works has not occurred within the Time for Completion, then the Contractor shall pay or allow to WAPCOS Limited Liquidated Damages for such default for every day which shall elapse between the Time for Completion and the date stated in the Completion Certificate as being the Date of Completion of the Works.
Liquidated Damages If the Date of Completion of the Works or a Stage has not occurred by the Date for Completion for the Works or the Stage, the Contractor must pay liquidated damages at the rate specified in the Contract Particulars for every day after the Date for Completion until the Date of Completion or the Contract is terminated, whichever is first.
