Date of Completion of the Works definition

Date of Completion of the Works means the date certified as such in the Completion Certificate in accordance with Clause 5.21.3 [Completion of Works].
Date of Completion of the Works means the date certified as such in the CompletionCertificate in accordance with Clause 22.1.
Date of Completion of the Works means the date certified as such in the Completion Certificate in accordance with Clause16.3.

  • If the Contractor fails to Complete the Works in accordance with the Contract so that the Date of Completion of the Works has not occurred within the Time for Completion, then the Contractor shall pay or allow to WAPCOS Limited Liquidated Damages for such default for every day which shall elapse between the Time for Completion and the date stated in the Completion Certificate as being the Date of Completion of the Works.

  • Liquidated Damages If the Date of Completion of the Works or a Stage has not occurred by the Date for Completion for the Works or the Stage, the Contractor must pay liquidated damages at the rate specified in the Contract Particulars for every day after the Date for Completion until the Date of Completion or the Contract is terminated, whichever is first.

  • Use of documents, information and communication with the media3.7.1 Any specifications, plans, drawings, or any other documents issued by or on behalf of the Authority for the purposes of the Works shall remain the property of the Authority and shall be returned to the Authority on the Date of Completion of the Works.

  • The Contractor shall execute and complete the WUC at its cost in a proper and workmanlike manner and to a standard consistent with best industry practice and in accordance with the Contract and Contract Documents and shall be solely liable for the care of the Works, temporary works, materials and constructional plant until the Date of Completion of the Works in their entirety.

  • Date of Completion with respect to a Project shall mean: (i) the date upon which such Project and all components thereof have been acquired or constructed and are capable of performing the functions for which they were intended, as evidenced by an Engineers’ Certificate filed with the Trustee and the Issuer; or (ii) the date on which the Issuer determines, upon the recommendation of or in consultation with the Consulting Engineer, that it cannot complete such Project in a sound and economical manner within a reasonable period of time as evidenced by an Engineers’ Certificate filed with the Trustee and the Issuer; provided that in each case such certificate of the Consulting Engineer shall set forth the amount of all Costs of such Project which have theretofore been incurred, but which on the Date of Completion is or will be unpaid or unreimbursed.

  • Date of commencement of the project means the date of the agreement.

  • The Completion Date means the date of completion of the Works as certified by the Employer’s Representative.

  • Substantial Completion Date means the required date for Substantial Completion of the Project. The Substantial Completion Date can be adjusted only by written Change Order.

  • Substantial Completion means the stage in the progress of the work as determined and certified by the Contracting Officer in writing to the Contractor, on which the work (or a portion designated by the Government) is sufficiently complete and satisfactory. Substantial completion means that the property may be occupied or used for the purpose for which it is intended, and only minor items such as touch-up, adjustments, and minor replacements or installations remain to be completed or corrected which:

  • Completion Date means the date of completion of the Services by the Service Provider as certified by the Procuring Entity

  • Final Completion Date means the date on which Final Completion occurs.

  • Project Completion Date means the date on which the Completion Certificate is issued;

  • Time of Completion means the time for completing the execution of and passing the Tests on Completion of the Works of any section or part thereof as stated in the Contract (or as extended under Clause...) calculated from the Commencement Date

  • Final Completion means the date determined and certified by A/E and Owner on which the Work is fully and satisfactorily complete in accordance with the Contract.

  • Target Completion Date has the meaning given such term in Section 3.3(b).

  • Construction Period means the period commencing from the Appointed Date and ending on the date of the Completion Certificate;

  • Construction Completion means physical construction of a cleanup action component is complete.

  • Mechanical Completion means that (a) all components and systems of the Project have been properly constructed, installed and functionally tested according to EPC Contract requirements in a safe and prudent manner that does not void any equipment or system warranties or violate any permits, approvals or Laws; (b) the Project is ready for testing and commissioning, as applicable; (c) Seller has provided written acceptance to the EPC Contractor of mechanical completion as that term is specifically defined in the EPC Contract.

  • Improvement completion assurance means a surety bond, letter of credit,

  • Practical Completion means that stage in the execution of a Named Project when the Works have been completed in accordance with the terms of the relevant Building Contract and/or the terms of this Agreement such that the AHP Dwellings comprised within the Named Project are fit for beneficial occupation as a residential development in accordance with applicable NHBC or equivalent requirements current at the date of inspection subject only to the existence of minor defects and/or minor omissions at the time of inspection which are capable of being made good or carried out without materially interfering with the beneficial use and enjoyment of the Named Project and which would be reasonable to include in a snagging list, and Practically Complete shall be construed accordingly; Process has the meaning ascribed to it in the DPA; Procurement Law means (as the case may be):

  • Certificate of Completion means the certificate of completion given by the Engineer-in- charge pursuant to clause 40 of these conditions;

  • Completion Period means the period starting from the date of issue of "Order" and required to complete the work in all respect.

  • Inspection Period means the period beginning on the Effective Date and expiring at 5:00 p.m. eastern time on the forty-fifth day after the Effective Date.

  • Date of Commercial Operation means the date on which the (nuclear or non-nuclear) power plant has successfully passed all performance and operational tests required by the end customer for commercial operation. For the Hotel to be considered under construction, youmust have begun to pour concrete foundations for the Hotel or otherwise satisfied any site-specific criteria for “under construction” set out in the Addendum.

  • Virtual Completion means the premise is in the opinion of the Employer fit for occupation.

  • Project Completion means the date, as determined by the Division after consultation with the Recipient, that operation of the Project is initiated or is capable of being initiated, whichever comes first.
