Date of First Receipt definition

Date of First Receipt means, with respect to a Party, the date on which any employee of such Party, its Affiliates or its Third Party subcontractors first becomes aware of safety-related information.
Date of First Receipt means the date of receipt or coming into possession or control of safety information by, which contains at a minimum a suspect medicinal product and a suspect event i.e. an incomplete case. Unless otherwise indicated in the Applicable Law the Regulatory Clock Start Date or Day Zero for regulatory reporting, is the date the minimum criteria for reporting as defined by the Applicable Law becomes available (i.e., an identifiable subject/ patient, identifiable reporter, suspect product, and event).
Date of First Receipt is the date that a Party’s personnel first becomes aware of an AE reported with the use of the Licensed Product and determines that it meets the minimum criteria for reporting to a health authority.

  • If Saturday, Sunday or a public holiday is the Date of First Receipt, the case has to be reported on the next business day.
