Deferred Compensation Account Balance definition

Deferred Compensation Account Balance means, as of a Determination Date, the aggregate of the applicable Participant’s Interest Bearing Account Balance and Investment Unit Account Balance.
Deferred Compensation Account Balance or “Account Balance” shall mean, with respect to a Participant, the total amount credited to that Participant’s Deferred Compensation Account. The “Account Balance” shall be a bookkeeping entry only and shall be utilized solely as a device for the measurement and determination of amounts to be paid to a Participant, or such Participant’s Beneficiary, under this Plan.
Deferred Compensation Account Balance means, with respect to each Year's salary deferrals under Section 4.1 hereof, the balance of a Participant's account for such deferrals that is valued in accordance with the provisions of Sections 5.2 and 5.6 hereof (or, in the case of a termination for Cause, in accordance with the provisions of Section 5.4 hereof).

Examples of Deferred Compensation Account Balance in a sentence

  • The Deferred Compensation Account Balance shall be paid out as follows: payments shall be made monthly for a period of ten (10) years (120 months).

  • Without limiting the foregoing, a Participant’s Deferred Compensation Account Balance shall at all times be a bookkeeping entry only and shall not represent any investment made on such Participant’s behalf by the Company.

  • Deferred Compensation Account means the account maintained with respect to each Participant under the Plan. The Deferred Compensation Account shall be credited with Participant Deferral Credits and Employer Credits, credited or debited for deemed investment gains or losses, and adjusted for payments in accordance with the rules and elections in effect under Section 8. The Deferred Compensation Account of a Participant shall include any In-Service or Education Account of the Participant, if applicable.

  • Matching Contribution Account means the separate, individual account established on behalf of a Participant to which the Matching Contributions made on such Participant's behalf are credited, together with all earnings and appreciation thereon, and against which are charged any withdrawals, loans and other distributions made from such account and any losses, depreciation or expenses allocable to amounts credited to such account.

For Salary Reduction Contributions, the terms "deferral contributions" and "elective deferrals" have the same meaning.

  • Company Matching Account means (i) the sum of all of a Participant's Annual Company Matching Amounts, plus (ii) amounts credited in accordance with all the applicable crediting provisions of this Plan that relate to the Participant's Company Matching Account, less (iii) all distributions made to the Participant or his or her Beneficiary pursuant to this Plan that relate to the Participant's Company Matching Account.

  • Employer Contribution means the amount paid by an employer, as determined by the employer rate, including the normal and deficiency rates, contributions, and funds wherever used in this chapter.

  • Nonqualified Deferred Compensation Rules means the limitations or requirements of Section 409A of the Code, as amended from time to time, including the guidance and regulations promulgated thereunder and successor provisions, guidance and regulations thereto.

  • ESOP Account means a Participant’s account to which are credited Matching Contributions made to the Plan after March 31, 1989, and earnings and losses thereon.
