Section 5.4. District will provide a seniority list annually to each job classification as defined in Section 1.3 by 26 October 1, each year.

Section 5.4. 21 The Association will designate a Conference Committee (not to exceed seven members) consisting of 22 trustees and officers who will meet with the superintendent of the District and/or designated 23 representative(s) on a mutually agreeable regular basis to discuss appropriate matters.
Section 5.4. 12 The Association representative shall represent the Association and employees in meetings with officials of 13 the District to discuss the application and interpretation of this Agreement. They may receive and 14 investigate complaints or grievances of employees and thereafter advise employees of rights and procedures 15 outlined in this Agreement. They may not, however, continue to advise the employee on courses of action 16 after the employee has indicated that he does not desire to pursue a grievance. 20 A R T I C L E V I 22 HOURS OF WORK AND OVERTIME 24 Section 6.1. 25 Normally, the workweek shall consist of five (5) consecutive days, Monday through Friday, followed by 26 two (2) consecutive days of rest, Saturday and Sunday; provided, however, the District may assign an 27 employee to a workweek of any five (5) consecutive days which are followed by two (2) consecutive days 28 of rest.
Section 5.4. Section 5.4 of the Credit Agreement is hereby deleted in its entirety and the following is substituted in lieu thereof:
Section 5.4. Each regular employee shall be allowed a rest period of fifteen (15) minutes for each 32 four (4) consecutive hours of working time, provided that employees working seven (7) consecutive 33 hours or more are entitled to a second fifteen (15) minute break in the afternoon. Such rest periods 34 shall be scheduled by the employee's immediate supervisor and shall occur as near as possible to the 35 mid-point of the work period; provided that, where the nature of the work allows an employee to 36 take an intermittent rest period equivalent to fifteen (15) minutes for each four (4) consecutive hours 37 worked, scheduled rest periods are not required. 38
Section 5.4. 21 When assembling an interview team, the following parties will be invited: District (Administrator/ 22 Supervisor) representation, PSE representation (Chapter Leadership including classification 23 representative appropriate for posting) and other staff as determined by the District with the following 24 parameters: 26 1. Confidentiality procedures will be followed for all candidates. 27 2. The selection process shall be identical for all candidates. 28 3. When appropriate, tasks and assessments may be utilized as part of the selection process. 29 4. When utilized, all candidates will participate with testing requirements. 30 5. Qualified (based on job postings and written descriptions) internal candidates shall be 31 interviewed by seniority until the position is filled. 32 6. PSE representation shall receive at least two (2) working days notice prior to interviews. 36 A R T I C L E V I 37 38 HOURS OF WORK 39 41 The workweek shall consist of five (5) consecutive days, Monday through Friday, followed by two (2) 42 consecutive days of rest, Saturday and Sunday.
Section 5.4. 6 The Association will, from time to time, as appropriate, be advised of current and predicted enrollment 7 and/or financial information and the possible impact on employees. 8 11 A R T I C L E V I 13 ASSOCIATION REPRESENTATION 16 The Association will designate a Conference Committee comprised of at least one (1) member from 17 each building and/or one representative from each classification, who will meet with the 18 Superintendent of the District or the Superintendent's representatives on a mutually agreeable regular 19 basis to discuss appropriate matters.

Section 5.4. 23 If any collective bargaining agreement negotiated by the Lynden School District allows an Association 24 to have Agency Shop, that language would automatically be included in the Lynden Classified
