Deferred Compensation Subaccount definition

Deferred Compensation Subaccount means the bookkeeping account established for a Participant under the Plan to which Deferred Compensation amounts with respect to such Participant are credited from time to time, as provided in Section 5.2 of the Plan. For purposes of this definition, unless otherwise indicated by the Plan, Deferred Compensation Subaccount shall refer to both the Deferred Compensation Cash and Stock Subparts.
Deferred Compensation Subaccount means the subaccount within the Participant's Account to which amounts deferred under Section 2 are credited as described in Section 3.1 hereof.

Examples of Deferred Compensation Subaccount in a sentence

  • Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 7.1 of the Plan, the Committee may, in its sole discretion, choose to permit a Participant to withdraw amounts from his or her Deferred Compensation Subaccount upon a showing by such Participant that an Unforeseeable Emergency has occurred.

  • Each Account shall have a Deferred Compensation Subaccount to which shall be credited amounts deferred under Section 2 hereof, plus amounts as provided in Section 3.3 hereof.

  • A Participant’s distribution election with respect to a Plan Year shall apply to each subaccount in his Deferred Compensation Subaccount.

  • A Participant’s Deferred Compensation Subaccount shall at all times be 100% Vested.

  • The Cash Subpart and Stock Subpart (if any) of Participant’s Deferred Compensation Subaccount shall be credited with earnings amounts equal to the following.

  • Such distribution shall be limited to the amount shown to be necessary to meet the Unforeseeable Emergency, and no more than one withdrawal will be permitted from a Participant’s Deferred Compensation Subaccount during any calendar year.The dollar amount of any withdrawal shall reduce the value of both the Participant’s Cash and Stock Subparts.

  • Each Participant’s DPA shall be comprised of (i) a Deferred Compensation Subaccount, consisting of a Cash Subpart Account and, in the case of Directors and Inside Directors who so elect, a Stock Subpart Account, and (ii) a Matching Contribution Subaccount.

  • A Deferred Compensation Subaccount shall be created for each Participant, to which all Deferred Compensation shall be credited.

Related to Deferred Compensation Subaccount

  • Deferred Compensation Account means the account maintained with respect to each Participant under the Plan. The Deferred Compensation Account shall be credited with Participant Deferral Credits and Employer Credits, credited or debited for deemed investment gains or losses, and adjusted for payments in accordance with the rules and elections in effect under Section 8. The Deferred Compensation Account of a Participant shall include any In-Service or Education Account of the Participant, if applicable.

  • Deferred Compensation Award means an award of Stock Units granted to a Participant pursuant to Section 11 of the Plan.

  • Section 409A Deferred Compensation means compensation provided pursuant to an Award that constitutes nonqualified deferred compensation within the meaning of Section 409A.

  • Deferred Compensation Plan means any plan, agreement or arrangement maintained by the Company from time to time that provides opportunities for deferral of compensation.

  • Nonqualified deferred compensation plan means a compensation plan described in Section 3121(v)(2)(C) of the Internal Revenue Code.

  • Deferral Account means the Company's accounting of the Director's accumulated Deferrals plus accrued interest.

  • Deferred Stock Account means a bookkeeping account maintained by the Company for a Participant representing the Participant's interest in the shares credited to such Deferred Stock Account pursuant to Paragraph 7 hereof.

  • Nonqualified Deferred Compensation Rules means the limitations or requirements of Section 409A of the Code, as amended from time to time, including the guidance and regulations promulgated thereunder and successor provisions, guidance and regulations thereto.

  • Deferred Compensation Agreement means an agreement to participate and to defer compensation between a Participant and the Company in such form and consistent with terms of the Plan as the Company may prescribe from time to time.

  • Matching Contribution Account means the separate, individual account established on behalf of a Participant to which the Matching Contributions made on such Participant's behalf are credited, together with all earnings and appreciation thereon, and against which are charged any withdrawals, loans and other distributions made from such account and any losses, depreciation or expenses allocable to amounts credited to such account.

  • Elective Deferral Account means the account established hereunder to which Elective Deferrals (including a separate accounting for Catch-Up Contributions) are allocated. Amounts in the Participant's Elective Deferral Account are nonforfeitable when made and are subject to the distribution restrictions of Section 12.2(e). The Elective Deferral Account may consist of the

  • Deferral Contributions are Salary Reduction Contributions and Cash or Deferred Contributions the Employer contributes to the Trust on behalf of an Eligible Employee, irrespective of whether, in the case of Cash or Deferred Contributions, the contribution is at the election of the Employee. For Salary Reduction Contributions, the terms "deferral contributions" and "elective deferrals" have the same meaning.

  • Employee Account means any brokerage account or unit investment trust account in which the Van Kampen Employee has any direct or indirect beneficial ownership.

  • Deferred Compensation means the Compensation elected by the Participant to be deferred pursuant to the Plan.

  • Deferred Account means the participant's Deferred Pension Account, Deferred Dividends Account, Deferred Retainer Account, Deferred Fees Account, Deferred Cash Account and/or Deferred Stock Account.

  • Employer Contribution Account means, for any Participant, the account established by the Administrator or Trustee to which Employer Contributions made under Section 3.5 for the Participant's benefit are credited.

  • Company Matching Contributions means any contributions made to the Company Matching Account of a Participant by a Participating Employer as provided for in Section 4.02.

  • Company Matching Account means (i) the sum of all of a Participant's Annual Company Matching Amounts, plus (ii) amounts credited in accordance with all the applicable crediting provisions of this Plan that relate to the Participant's Company Matching Account, less (iii) all distributions made to the Participant or his or her Beneficiary pursuant to this Plan that relate to the Participant's Company Matching Account.

  • Employer Matching Contributions means the Employer matching contributions made to the Trust Fund pursuant to Article V (Employer Matching Contributions).

  • Deferral Contribution means any contribution made to the Plan by the Employer in accordance with the provisions of Section 5.03.

  • Matching Contribution means Employer contributions made to this Plan or any other defined contribution plan by reason of Thrift Contributions or Elective Deferrals under this Plan.

  • Stock Account means the account maintained on behalf of the Participant by the Custodian for the purpose of holding Stock acquired under the Plan.

  • Participant’s Account means an account maintained for each Participant’s participation in DSUs and/or RSUs under the Plan;

  • Matching Contributions means local cash and/or in-kind contributions made by the Contractor, a subcontractor, or other local resources that qualify as match for the Contract funding.

  • Employer Account The Participant's Matching 401(k) Contributions Account, Matching Thrift Contributions Account, Employer Contributions Account, Qualified Matching Contributions Account and Qualified Nonelective Contributions Account, as the case may be.

  • Earned Compensation means any Annual Base Salary earned, but unpaid, for services rendered to the Company on or prior to the date on which the Employment Period ends pursuant to Section 3(a) (but excluding any salary and interest accrued thereon payment of which has been deferred).
