Examples of Dependent with a disability in a sentence

  • If adding a child who becomes eligible as an extended Dependent through legal custody or legal guardianship, or a child who becomes eligible as a Dependent with a disability, health plan coverage will begin on the first day of the month following eligibility certification.

  • If adding a child who becomes eligible as an extended Dependent through legal custody or legal guardianship, or a child who becomes eligible as a Dependent with a disability, medical coverage will begin on the first day of the month following eligibility certification.

  • Student with a disability is defined as an individual who: ● is still enrolled in secondary school and has not exited, graduated, or withdrawn; ● is at least 14 years old but less than 22; ● and has a disability (i.e., receives services under an IEP or 504 plan, or has a disability for purposes of section 504). The limited Pre-ETS that may be provided, based on identified need and the availability of services, include: ● Job exploration counseling ● Work-based learning experiences, which may include in-school or after school opportunities, experiences outside of the traditional school setting, and/or internships ● Counseling on opportunities for enrollment in comprehensive transition or post- secondary educational programs ● Workplace readiness training to develop social skills and independent living ● Instruction in self-advocacy Authorizations for Pre-ETS.   • Person with a disability means a person who is a citizen or lawful resident of the United States and is a person qualifying as a person with a disability under subdivision (2.1) of this subsection (A).

  • Child with a disability means a child who, by reason of any of the following, needs special education and related services:

  • mental disability means one or more mental disorders, as defined in the most recent edition of the American Psychiatric Association's "Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders", or a record of or regarding a person as having one or more such disorders;

  • Partial Disability or "Partially Disabled" means you, as a result of Injury or Sickness, are able to:

  • Disability means total and permanent disability as defined in Section 22(e)(3) of the Code.

  • Disability or Disabled means that during the Elimination Period and your Own Occupation Period you are, as a result of Physical Disease, Injury, Mental Disorder, Substance Abuse or Pregnancy, unable to perform one or more of the Material Duties of your Own Occupation, and, due to such inability, your Work Earnings are less than 80% of your Indexed Predisability Earnings, and you are incapable of earning 80% or more of your Indexed Predisability Earnings.   • Physical disability means a severe, chronic condition that is attributable to a physical impairment that results in substantial limitations of physical functioning in three or more of the following areas of major life activities: self-care, receptive and expressive language, learning, mobility, self-direction, capacity for independent living, and economic self-sufficiency.

  • Permanent Disability means the Employee’s inability to perform the essential functions of the Employee’s position, with or without reasonable accommodation, for a period of at least 120 consecutive days because of a physical or mental impairment.

  • Service-connected disability means a disability incurred or aggravated in the line of duty in the active military, naval, or air service as described in 38 USC 101(16).

  • Service-disabled veteran means a veteran, as defined in 38 U.S.C. 101(2), with a disability that is service-connected, as defined in 38 U.S.C. 101(16).

  • Qualified Termination has the meaning set forth in Section 4(b).

  • Recurrent Disability means a Disability caused by an Injury or Sickness that is the same as, or related to, the cause of a prior Disability for which Monthly Benefits were payable. A Recurrent Disability will be treated as follows.
