Designated Investment definition

Designated Investment means an investment made by a Sub-Fund which, upon the advice of the AIFM, the ICAV determines: (i) has limited liquidity because of legal, contractual or other restrictions on its transfer or sale or which is not otherwise freely tradeable; or (ii) in respect of which no readily determinable valuation is available. It is acknowledged, however, that not all illiquid investments or investments which are difficult to value must be designated as such;
Designated Investment means the investment medium selected by a Trustee under Section 3.3.
Designated Investment means either a collective investment trust for the collective investment of assets of employee pension or profit sharing trusts pursuant to Revenue Ruling 81-100, a commingled investment vehicle for the collective investment of assets of institutional investors, or a regulated investment company, for which Scudxxx, Xxevxxx & Xlarx, Xxc., its successor or any of its affiliates, acts as investment adviser and any of which are designated by Scudxxx Xxxestor Services, Inc. or its successors as eligible for investment under the Plan.

More Definitions of Designated Investment

Designated Investment means each investment set forth on Addendum A attached hereto and each other investment (or pooled group of investments) outside of the Company’s historical core real estate business that is designated as a Designated Investment by the Committee from time to time. In determining which investments by the Company shall be designated as a Designated Investment, the Committee shall consider recommendations by the Chief Executive Officer of the Company.
Designated Investment means the investment vehicle or vehicles set forth on Exhibit "A".
Designated Investment means any form of statutory or voluntary deposit, saving, investment or risk insurance placed or made by the South African public (whether of a wholesale or retail nature, but not by one financial institution in another).
Designated Investment is defined in Section 3.1(a).
