Designated Investment definition

Designated Investment means the investment medium selected by a Trustee under Section 3.3.
Designated Investment means either a collective investment trust for the collective investment of assets of employee pension or profit sharing trusts pursuant to Revenue Ruling 81-100, a commingled investment vehicle for the collective investment of assets of institutional investors, or a regulated investment company, for which ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ & ▇▇▇▇▇, Inc., its successor or any of its affiliates, acts as investment adviser and any of which are designated by ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Investor Services, Inc. or its successors as eligible for investment under the Plan.
Designated Investment means each investment set forth on Addendum A attached hereto and each other investment (or pooled group of investments) outside of the Company’s historical core real estate business that is designated as a Designated Investment by the Committee from time to time. In determining which investments by the Company shall be designated as a Designated Investment, the Committee shall consider recommendations by the Chief Executive Officer of the Company.

  • Specific Exchanges The following exchanges are Specified Exchanges for the purposes of Clause 1.1; Any Recognised Exchange, Recognised Investment Exchange, Designated Investment Exchange or Approved Exchange as defined by the Financial Services Authority or the Securities and Futures Authority and as amended from time to time.

  • For the avoidance of doubt, the Designated Investment Banker shall not consider or attribute any value (or negative value) to any distribution advances by the Company provided for in Section 6.6(a)(ii) of the Operating Agreement or tax liabilities relating to the change from the LIFO to the FIFO inventory accounting method, which is the subject of the last sentence of Section 4.1 of the Operating Agreement.

Net earnings are reduced by contributions by the Employer to a qualified plan, including this Plan, to the extent deductible under Code Section 404. In addition to other applicable limitations set forth in the Plan, and notwithstanding any other provision of the Plan to the contrary, for Plan Years beginning on or after January 1, 1994, the annual Earned Income of each Participant taken into account under the Plan for any determination period shall not exceed the OBRA '93 annual compensation limit. The OBRA '93 annual compensation limit is $150,000, as adjusted by the Commissioner for increases in the cost of living in accordance with Section 401(a)(17) of the Code. The cost-of-living adjustment in effect for a calendar year applies to any period, not to exceed 12 months, beginning in such calendar year over which Earned Income is determined...
Designated Investment means an investment as to which a Financial Officer shall have delivered a certificate prior to the making of such investment (a) designating such investment as a Designated Investment, (b) certifying that the amount of such investment is less than the Aggregate Designated Equity Issuance Amount immediately prior to the making of such investment and (c) certifying the Aggregate Designated Equity Issuance Amount immediately prior to and after giving effect to such Designated Investment.
