Development Contribution definition

Development Contribution means the amount of money referred to in item 5 of the Schedule;
Development Contribution means the provision made by a developer under a planning agreement, being payment of a monetary contribution, the dedication of land, the carrying out of a work-in-kind, the provision of a material public benefit to be used for or applied towards a public purpose, or any combination of the above.
Development Contribution means a monetary contribution, the dedication of land free of cost, the carrying out of work, or the provision of any other material public benefit, or any combination of them, to be used for, or applied towards a public purpose, but does not include any Security or other benefit provided by a Party to the Council to secure the enforcement of that Party’s obligations under this Deed for the purposes of s7.4(3)(g) of the Act.

Examples of Development Contribution in a sentence

  • If a Development Contribution under a Planning Agreement is the carrying out of works for a public purpose, Council will attribute a value to that Development Contribution.

  • The Agreement does not exclude the application of sections 7.11, 7.12 or 7.24 of the Act to the Development and the Development Contribution is not to be taken into consideration in determining any development contribution under s7.11 of the Act.

  • Planning Agreements form a part of a system under which Development Contribution are provided to the Council.

  • Planning Obligation An obligation imposed by a Planning Agreement on a Developer requiring the developer to make a Development Contribution.

More Definitions of Development Contribution

Development Contribution means the amount required, by the planning authority pursuant to Sections 48 and 49 of the Planning and Development Act 2000 (as amended), to be contributed as a condition of planning permission towards the cost of public infrastructure and facilities benefiting development in the administrative area of the planning authority.
Development Contribution means a monetary contribution, the dedication of land free of cost or the provision of a material public benefit. GST has the same meaning as in the GST Law.
Development Contribution means the sum of $191,492 and is referred to in item 5 of the Schedule;
