Directed Investment Account definition

Directed Investment Account means the separate Account established for a Qualified Participant pursuant to this section.
Directed Investment Account means the Account established for a Participant who directs the Trustee as to the investment of all or a portion of the interest in any one or more of his individual account balances as permitted in Section 4.6.
Directed Investment Account means the investment account of a Participant which he elects under the provisions of Section 3.4(c) and which is credited with the net gain (or loss) on his directed investments.

Examples of Directed Investment Account in a sentence

  • Any costs and expenses related to compliance with the Participant's directions shall be borne by the Participant's Directed Investment Account.

  • That portion of the account of any Participant that is subject to the investment direction of such Participant will be considered a Directed Investment Account.

  • A Participant may direct how his or her Directed Investment Account (including subaccounts) are deemed to be invested, but only among such deemed investment vehicles as are made available by the Plan Committee from time to time.

  • Upon written request by a Participant, the Plan Committee or its delegate, in its sole discretion, may distribute to the Participant prior to his or her elected distribution event such amount of the Participant’s Directed Investment Account balance which the Plan Committee (or its delegate) determines is necessary to provide for an unforeseeable emergency suffered by the Participant.

  • The Plan Committee may, but is not required to, determine that one investment option for the Directed Investment Account may be shares or units of Common Stock, provided however that any such investment option shall be accounted for separately from the Stock Unit Account.

  • However, if Participants are so empowered by the Administrator, each Participant may direct the Trustee to separate and keep separate all or a portion of his account; and further each Participant is authorized and empowered, in his sole and absolute discretion, to give directions to the Trustee pursuant to the procedure established by the Administrator and in such form as the Trustee may require concerning the investment of the Participant's Directed Investment Account.

  • The Participant’s Directed Investment Account shall be credited or reduced with its allocable share of deemed investment gains and losses.

  • Such earnings or losses during the deferral period for amounts credited to a Participant’s Directed Investment Account shall be computed by reference to the rate of return on one or more of the investment alternatives that are available under the 401(k) Plan and which are designated by the Committee as available under this Plan, which shall include a stable value fixed income fund (the “Stable Value Fund”).

  • The balance of each Participant’s Directed Investment Account shall be adjusted, for earnings and losses commencing with the date as of which any amount is credited to the Directed Investment Account.

  • Notwithstanding anything hereinabove to the contrary, the Trustee shall not, at any time after December 31, 1981, invest any portion of a Directed Investment Account in "collectibles" within the meaning of that term as employed in Code Section 408(m).


More Definitions of Directed Investment Account

Directed Investment Account means the investment account of a participant that he elects under the provisions of Section 3.4(c) and that is credited with the net gain (or loss) on his directed investments.
Directed Investment Account means an account established for the purpose of recording amounts credited on behalf of a Participant and any income, expenses, gains, losses or distributions included thereon. The Account shall be a bookkeeping entry only and shall be utilized solely as a device for the measurement and determination of the amounts to be paid to a Participant or to the Participant’s Beneficiary pursuant to the Plan. The Account may contain separate subaccounts for Participant Deferrals, Company Credits, and other subaccounts as determined by the Committee.
Directed Investment Account means a bookkeeping account established and maintained on behalf of a Participant pursuant to Article III of the Plan.

  • Liquid Investments means (a) readily marketable direct full faith and credit obligations of the United States of America or obligations unconditionally guaranteed by the full faith and credit of the United States of America; (b) commercial paper issued by (i) any Lender or any Affiliate of any Lender or (ii) any commercial banking institutions or corporations rated at least P-1 by Moody’s or A-1 by S&P; (c) certificates of deposit, time deposits, and bankers’ acceptances issued by (i) any of the Lenders or (ii) any other commercial banking institution which is a member of the Federal Reserve System and has a combined capital and surplus and undivided profits of not less than $250,000,000 and rated Aa by Moody’s or AA by S&P; (d) repurchase agreements which are entered into with any of the Lenders or any major money center banks included in the commercial banking institutions described in clause (c) and which are secured by readily marketable direct full faith and credit obligations of the government of the United States of America or any agency thereof; (e) investments in any money market fund which holds investments substantially of the type described in the foregoing clauses (a) through (d); (f) readily and immediately available cash held in any money market account maintained with any Lender; provided that, such money market accounts and the funds therein shall be unencumbered and free and clear of all Liens and other third party rights other than a Lien in favor of the Administrative Agent pursuant to the Security Documents; and (g) other investments made through the Administrative Agent or its Affiliates and approved by the Administrative Agent. All the Liquid Investments described in clauses (a) through (d) above shall have maturities of not more than 365 days from the date of issue.

  • Principal Funding Account Investment Proceeds shall have the meaning specified in subsection 4.03(a)(ii).

  • Restricted Investment means an Investment other than a Permitted Investment.

  • Authorized Investments means: any investment which may be authorized by the Commission but does not include restricted investments as specified in the Offering Documents from time to time.

  • Approved Investment means any type of security, instrument, participation or interest in property, as set forth on Schedule I hereto (which may be amended from time to time by execution of a revised Schedule I, I-A or I-B) in which Cash Collateral may be invested or reinvested by Bank in accordance with Paragraph 2 of Article IV hereof.

  • Investment Assets means all debentures, notes and other evidences of Indebtedness, stocks, securities (including rights to purchase and securities convertible into or exchangeable for other securities), interests in joint ventures and general and limited partnerships, mortgage loans and other investment or portfolio assets owned of record or beneficially by the Company.

  • Permitted Investment means an Investment by the Company or any Restricted Subsidiary in:

  • Collection Account means the account designated as such, established and maintained pursuant to Section 5.1.

  • Holding Account means an account:

  • regulated investment companies (as defined in Section 851 of the Code), all as from time to time in effect (collectively, the "Policies"), and with all applicable provisions of law, including without limitation all applicable provisions of the Investment Company Act of 1940 (the "1940 Act") and the rules and regulations thereunder. Subject to the foregoing, the Sub-Adviser is authorized, in its discretion and without prior consultation with the Manager, to buy, sell, lend and otherwise trade in any stocks, bonds and other securities and investment instruments on behalf of the Series, without regard to the length of time the securities have been held and the resulting rate of portfolio turnover or any tax considerations; and the majority or the whole of the Series may be invested in such proportions of stocks, bonds, other securities or investment instruments, or cash, as the Sub-Adviser shall determine.

  • Specified Investments means (a) direct obligations of the United States of America or obligations fully guaranteed by the United States of America; (b) commercial paper rated A-1/P-1 by S&P and Moody's, respectively or, if such ratings are unavailable, rated by any nationally recognized rating organization in the United States equal to the highest rating assigned by such rating organization; (c) investments in negotiable certificates of deposit, time deposits, banker's acceptances, commercial paper or other direct obligations of, or obligations guaranteed by, commercial banks organized under the laws of the United States or of any political subdivision thereof (or any U.S. branch of a foreign bank) with issuer ratings of at least B/C by Thomson Bankwatch, having maturities no later than 90 days following the date of such investment; (d) overnight federal funds transactions with members of the Federal Reserve System arranged by federal funds brokers; or (e) overnight repurchase agreements with respect to the securities described in clause (a) above entered into with an office of a bank or trust company which is located in the United States of America or any bank or trust company which is organized under the laws of the United States or any state thereof and has capital, surplus and undivided profits aggregating at least $500 million. SSB. State Street Bank and Trust Company of Connecticut, National Association, a national banking association or any successor Owner Trustee in its individual capacity.

  • Liquidity Account Investments means Deposit Securities or any other security or investment owned by the Fund that is rated not less than A3 by Moody’s, A- by Standard & Poor’s, A- by Fitch or an equivalent rating by any other NRSRO (or any such rating’s future equivalent) or if not rated, determined by the Adviser to be of comparable quality.

  • Qualified investment has the meaning set forth in Section 313.021(1) of the TEXAS TAX CODE, as interpreted by the Comptroller’s Rules.

  • Permitted Investments means:

  • Regulated investment company has the meaning set forth in Section 851 of the Code.
