Qualified Participant definition

Qualified Participant means an individual who is a participant of Tier 2 and who meets 1 of the following requirements:
Qualified Participant means any Participant or Former Participant who has completed ten (10) Years of Service as a Participant and has attained age 55.
Qualified Participant means a Participant who has attained age 55 and who has completed at least 10 years of participation in the Plan.

Examples of Qualified Participant in a sentence

  • The Employer shall contribute an amount equal to the product of the Earnings of all Qualified Participants and the Base Contribution Percentage, and the contribution shall be allocated as of the last day of the Plan Year among the Employer Contribution Accounts of all Qualified Participants in the ratio that the Earnings of each Qualified Participant bears to the Earnings of all Qualified Participants.

  • For purposes of this Section 3.02(D), a "Qualified Participant" means a Participant who has completed at least 15 Years of 403(b) Service with the Qualified Organization.

  • In order to receive an allocation of Profit Sharing Contributions for a Plan Year, an Employee must be a Qualified Participant for this purpose.

  • Any Employee who has met the eligibility requirements in item 3 of this Plan Agreement is a Qualified Participant unless, for reasons other than his death or Retirement, he is not an active Employee on the last day of the Plan Year, and he is not credited with more than 500 Hours of Service in the Plan Year.

More Definitions of Qualified Participant

Qualified Participant means a Participant who has attained age 55 and who has completed at least 10 years of participation in the Plan. A "year of participation" means a Plan Year in which the Participant was eligible for an allocation of Employer contributions, irrespective of whether the Employer actually contributed to the Plan for that Plan Year.
