Distribution Licensees definition

Distribution Licensees means any one or more of Eastern Power Networks plc (company number 2366906), London Power Networks plc (company number 3929195) and South Eastern Power Networks plc (company number 3043097), UK Power Networks (IDNO) Limited (company number 06489447) and any other holder of a licence issued under section 6 of the Electricity Xxx 0000 within the same group of companies as the Company;
Distribution Licensees means an End Procurer as defined in the Guidelines who has agreed to purchase the Wind Power from SECI and has signed/will sign the Power Sale Agreement with SECI. It is clarified that all obligations of SECI under this Agreement shall be deemed to be the obligations of Buying Entities with which SECI has signed/will sign Power Sale Agreement.
Distribution Licensees means the distribution companies or distribution licensees or buying entity in any State or any bulk consumer who has agreed to purchase the Wind Power from SECI and has signed/will sign the Power Sale Agreement with SECI. It is clarified that all obligations of SECI under this Agreement shall be deemed to be the obligations of Buying Entities with which SECI has signed/will sign Power Sale Agreement.

  • For the avoidance of doubt, compensation payable may include interest payments on debt, O&M Expenses and all other costs directly attributable to such material breach or default but shall not include loss on account of Tariff, revenues from sale of electricity to other Distribution Licensees and Buyers, and other revenues, debt repayment obligations, or any consequential losses.

  • The distribution of electrical energy through the Franchisee Network shall be consistent with MERC (Electricity Supply Code) Regulations, 2005 and the MERC (Standards of Performance of Distribution Licensees, Period for Giving Supply and Determination of Compensation) Regulations, 2014 and any amendments or modifications issued from time to time.

  • Distribution Licensee may consider the quantum of electricity generation from the Solar PV System owned and operated by (i) MSME (Manufacturing) Enterprise, (ii) Other than MSME (Manufacturing) Enterprise, (iii) surplus energy purchased by Distribution Licensees from the Solar project set up for RPO compliance (not under REC Mechanism), towards RPO compliance.

  • The words and phrases used in this Agreement are ascribed the same meaning as contained/described under the Gujarat Small, Mini Hydro Policy, 2015, The Electricity Act, 2003 and Gujarat Electricity Regulatory Commission Order No. 5 of 2016 (Determination of Tariff and other terms and conditions for procurement of power by Distribution Licensees and Others from Small, mini Hydro Energy Projects in State of Gujarat) Rules/Regulations/Orders issued thereunder unless otherwise expressly defined.

  • In the event, the Agreement is not renewed, the Franchisee shall be bound to permit AEML the use of its distribution transformer and any other distribution assets in order to ensure continuity of supply to the Downstream Consumers, till the time AEML makes separate network arrangements for supplying power to such Downstream Consumers, timelines for which are provided in the MERC Standards of Performance Regulations for Distribution Licensees, as prevailing from time to time.
