EAP definition

EAP means the Employee Assistance Program, a service available to all state employees, which provides assistance and referral for a variety of situations including emotional, financial, family, and chemical dependency problems.

Examples of EAP in a sentence

  • Any employee who is participating in a drug and/or alcohol dependency treatment program, either under the City's Employee Assistance Program (EAP) or otherwise, may be required to undergo periodic drug/alcohol testing at any time at the sole discretion of management during the treatment period and for up to two (2) years following completion of any chemical dependency treatment program.

  • District will review and confirm the accuracy of the EAP, including ensuring that the EAP conforms to existing District facilities where Athletic Events occur.

  • Further, the employee must prepay all costs of the second test and if the result is negative, the employee will be deemed to have had a negative test result, will not be required to comply with the EAP program.
