EAP definition

EAP means the Employee Assistance Program, a service available to all state employees, which provides assistance and referral for a variety of situations including emotional, financial, family, and chemical dependency problems.

  • Accordingly, employees are encouraged to seek counseling from the Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and voluntary participation need not be disclosed.
