ECF Participant definition

ECF Participant means an individual to whom the clerk has assigned a login and password to file documents electronically by ECF. A filing agent, as such, is not an ECF Participant.

Examples of ECF Participant in a sentence

  • The filing ECF Participant or firm retaining the original document or LBF 5005 and scanned electronic replica of the document must produce it for review upon receipt of a written request.

  • At least five days before the meeting of creditors in a Chapter 7 case, any objection to abandonment of real property that is the debtor's residence must be filed and contemporaneously served on the debtor’s attorney (if not an ECF Participant), or, if debtor is not represented by an attorney, on the debtor.

  • However, documents that are not required to be filed with the petition (e.g., schedules or statements) must be filed electronically if the filer is an ECF Participant.

  • An ECF Participant is solely responsible for the use and control of the ECF Participant’s login and password.

  • FRBP 9011 by the ECF Participant to whom the court has assigned the login name used for the filing or on whose behalf a filing agent files the document.

  • The ECF Participant is also responsible for any actions taken by a filing agent on the ECF Participant’s behalf and for the timely deactivation of a filing agent when the filing agent is no longer authorized to file on the ECF Participant’s behalf.

  • A document filed electronically must contain, in each location a signature is required, the electronic signature of the filer and of any other signer of the document as follows: “/s/ (Name).” By affixing the “/s/ (Name)” of another signer to an electronically filed petition or other document described in FRBP 1008, the filing ECF Participant certifies under FRBP 9011 that, when filing the document, the filer possesses a counterpart of the document bearing an original signature for each signer.

  • A document filed electronically must contain, in each location a signature is required, the electronic signature of the filer and of any other signer of the document as follows: “/s/ (Name).” By affixing the “/s/ (Name)” of another signer to an electronically filed petition or other document described in FRBP 1008, the filing ECF Participant certifies under FRBP 9011 that the filer possesses a counterpart of the document bearing an original signature for each signer.

  • An electronically filed document that includes a signature requiring a verification under FRBP 1008 or an unsworn declaration (e.g., signed under penalty of perjury under 28 U.S.C. §1746) must be maintained in its original paper form for ten years by the filing ECF Participant or the firm representing the party on whose behalf the document was filed, except as otherwise provided for trustees by the U.S. Department of Justice.

  • Economics is currently part of the Department of Political Science, Economics, and Philosophy, which is being dissolved in a separate resolution.

Related to ECF Participant

  • FTR Participant means any Market Participant that provides or is required to provide Collateral in order to participate in PJM’s FTR auctions.

  • Active Participant means, with respect to any day or date, a Participant who is in Service on such day or date; provided, that a Participant shall cease to be an Active Participant (i) immediately upon a determination by the Committee that the Participant has ceased to be an Employee or Independent Contractor, or (ii) at the end of the Plan Year that the Committee determines the Participant no longer meets the eligibility requirements of the Plan.

  • L/C Participant shall have the meaning provided in Section 3.3(a).

  • CDS Participant means a participant in CDS that holds security entitlements in Units on behalf of beneficial owners of those Units;

  • Retired Participant means a person who has been a Participant, but who has become entitled to retirement benefits under the Plan.

  • Inactive Participant means each Participant (other than a Retired Participant, Deceased Participant or Disabled Participant) who is not in active service as an Outside Director and is not actively employed by a Participating Company.

  • Qualified Participant means an individual who is a participant of Tier 2 and who meets 1 of the following requirements:

  • U.S. Participant means a Participant who is a citizen of the United States or a resident of the United States, as defined in section 7701(a)(30)(A) and section 7701(b)(1) of the Code and any other Participant who is subject to tax under the Code with respect to compensatory awards granted pursuant to the Plan;

  • Participant has the meaning specified in Section 10.06(d).

  • Former Participant means a person who has been a Participant, but who has ceased to be a Participant for any reason.

  • Eligible Participant means an employee, officer, consultant or director of the Company or any Affiliate.

  • Employee Participant means an Employee who holds an outstanding Award under the terms of the Plan.

  • Covered Participant means a Participant who is a “covered employee” as defined in Section 162(m)(3) of the Code, and the regulations promulgated thereunder, and any individual the Committee determines should be treated as such a covered employee.

  • Disabled Participant with respect to a loan if it has no right to exercise any voting or other control rights with respect to such loan (other than the right to approve amendments to the material economic terms of such loan).

  • Designated Participant means such employees or officers of the Company or a related entity of the Company as the Board may designate from time to time as eligible to participate in the Plan;

  • Non-U.S. Participant means any Participant that if it were a Lender would qualify as a Non-U.S. Lender.

  • Loan Participant means each Purchaser and its respective successors and registered assigns, including any Certificate Holder.

  • Key participant means a sole proprietor, a partner in partnership, or a person with executive managerial control in a corporation. A person with executive managerial control includes persons such as a chief executive officer, chief operating officer and chief financial officer. This definition does not include non-executive managers such as farm, field, or shift managers.

  • Other Participant means a cooperative project participant other than the United States.

  • Eligible Employee means full-time and part-time employees in the bargaining unit who have completed four hundred and fifty (450) hours of service and who are not prohibited from contributing to the Plan by legislation or the Plan rules because of their age or because they are in receipt of a pension from the Plan.

  • Terminated Participant means a person who has been a Participant, but whose employment has been terminated other than by death, Total and Permanent Disability or retirement.

  • Plan Participant means a person who is eligible to receive, and is receiving, a pension benefit from the Plan.

  • Major Participant means each Equity Member and each member of the Proposer’s organization: (a) with primary responsibility for design; (b) with primary responsibility for construction; or (c) with a proposed subcontract with a value greater than or equal to 5% of the contract price or $20 million, whichever is greater.

  • Current Participant means a person who participated in the Plan during the Class Period and had an Active Account on May 11, 2018.

  • Section 16 Participant means a participant under the Plan who is then subject to Section 16 of the Exchange Act.
