Major Participant definition

Major Participant means each Equity Member and each member of the Proposer’s organization: (a) with primary responsibility for design; (b) with primary responsibility for construction; or (c) with a proposed subcontract with a value greater than or equal to 5% of the contract price or $20 million, whichever is greater.
Major Participant means each Equity Member and each member of the Proposer’s organization with: (a) primary responsibility for design; (b) primary responsibility for construction; or (c) a proposed subcontract with a value greater than or equal to $5 million (excluding subcontracts with Suppliers).

Examples of Major Participant in a sentence

  • Evidence of signature authority shall be provided for all individuals signing forms on behalf of each Major Participant.

  • The Proposal shall include Form C, the “Responsible Proposer Questionnaire”, signed by Proposer, each Major Participant and any other team member identified in the Proposal.

  • The Proposal shall include Form I regarding child support obligations, for Proposer and each Major Participant.


More Definitions of Major Participant

Major Participant means each Equity Member and (a) the Lead Design Firm; (b) the Lead Contractor; (c) the Lead O&M Contractor; and (d) a proposed Key Contractor.
Major Participant means each Equity Member as well as the following team members:
Major Participant means each Equity Participant and each member of the Proposer’s organization with: (a) primary responsibility for design; (b) primary responsibility for construction; (c) primary responsibility for providing and/or arranging Project finance; (d) primary responsibility for operations (except that NTTA shall not be considered a Major Participant for purposes of the Proposal); (e) primary responsibility for maintenance; (f) primary responsibility for designing toll collection systems, ITS, and software; or (g) a proposed subcontract with a value greater than or equal to $10 million (excluding subcontracts with Suppliers).
Major Participant means a Person who, except as provided in the next sentence, is (i) an Excess Owner, (ii) a Person that has filed proxy materials with the SEC (as defined in Section 1(w) of this Attachment A hereof) supporting a candidate for election to the Board of Directors of the Corporation in opposition to candidates approved by a majority of the board (not including any director who is not Independent as to such matter), (iii) a Person that has made a proposal, made a filing with the SEC or taken other actions in which such Person indicates that such Person may seek to become a Major Participant or which in the judgment of a majority of the board (not including any director who is not Independent as to such matter) indicates that it is reasonably possible or likely that such Person will seek to become a Major Participant, or (iv) such Person is an affiliate or associate of a Major Participant.

Major Participant means an individual or a legal entity (except for, among others, the state of Kazakhstan, the national managing holding, an organization specializing in improving the quality of credit portfolios of second-tier banks and subsidiaries of the NBK), which, directly or indirectly (whether independently or jointly with another person), in accordance with the relevant approval of the ARDFM:
Major Participant means i) each Principal Participant, ii) the Lead Engineering Firm, iii) each member of the Proposer’s organization with primary responsibility for construction, iv) each member of the Proposer’s organization with a proposed subcontract identified by the Proposer as of the SOQ due date with a value greater than or equal to $15 million (excluding subcontracts with suppliers), and v) each subconsultant responsible for performing more than fifteen percent (15%) of the design value.
